Daddy’s Girl (not--weatherby)
lucy
Luckily Lucy was a rather small child for her age, meaning it was still quite possible for her to be picked up and carried about. Which was good, because she liked to insist on it on several occasions, being perhaps a little clingy to those she cared about. She grinned brightly as she was set on the counter, legs dangling off the edge as her mother chuckled and nodded the affirmative.
Percy stepped back to look at the refrigerator that was very un-Percy-like in the way that the majority of things on it were Lucy’s drawings every which way, along with some of Molly’s things. There was a grocery list and a couple of other notes.
❝Looks perfect.❞ He said, looking over to Lucy. He crossed his arms and leaned against the counter beside Lucy. ❝Now what should we do until dinner.❞
Drawing was one of Lucy's favourite pastimes, along with dancing, so naturally the fridge was partially covered in her latest artwork, and there was a box under her bed half filled with drawings and doodles too, those that had been moved to make way for the newer pieces.
"Can you teach me how to play chess, daddy? Molly said she would but then she went to school," At that thought Lucy pouted slightly, seemingly a little disgruntled that her elder sister had went off to school without her.
