I am SO convinced that there is something different about their bond, and it almost feels like people closest to them continue to encourage that interpretation. They themselves also have never reached for the familiar phrass of "he's basically like my brother" or anything synonymous to it, which definitely raises eyebrows. Colleen came on the podcast and said "special relationship and friendship," while she described every other one of Will's relationships as brotherly. That distinction has always stuck with me. I can't help but wonder how many times Will has watched one of those edits, laughed to himself, and then lingered in silence that had once felt familiar, only to find out it had transformed into something quietly unsettling, where laughter gave way to contemplation.
