Just let people stay sober! Don’t tell them they’re boring! Don’t tell them they’re stuck up! Don’t tell them they’re immature! Don’t question their decision! Don’t pressure them to “just have one drink”! Don’t mock them! Just let people who want to stay sober stay sober!

And don’t ask why they choose to stay sober. Because it’s not your fucking business.

tbh the best way that i explain to other people what it feels like to live with an anxiety disorder is the one time when i had to get a fingerprint and background check done for a job and i, someone who has never received so much as a speeding ticket my whole life, spent thirty minutes panicking that i would fail because i might secretly be a criminal and have no idea 

you should never date someone for the sake of dating someone. you should be good friends, if not best friends with your partner. if you cant go to your partner for personal advice, if youre afraid to call your partner out on something, if you cant laugh and have fun with your partner, or if your conversations are only ever performative affection, you don’t have a good relationship
