I’m Paul MacEoghain and I’ve written a short film set in my home town of Wrexham. I own Little Films Ltd, a tiny insignificant production company that wants to make it in the industry, putting Wrexham firmly on the map. I want a Welsh Hollywood set right here (a HUGE undertaking. A pipe dream perhaps, but something I passionately believe in), producing short films designed to entertain. No message, no agenda. Just a fun hour of escapism.

Things are picking up at Little Films HQ. Budgets are being drafted and pre-production has officially begun. We still need to get the word out, however and we really need folks to subscribe to the Kickstarter campaign to be notified when it launches.

HELLO THERE!

I’ll be recording an episode of the Plaid Cymru podcast on Monday, talking about Werewolf of Wrexham. I’ll be explaining all about the film, the Kickstarter campaign (launching April 1st folks) and how YOU can take part.

I have a really good friend in America who has lost his home and possessions in the flooding caused by Hurricane Helene, so I’ve set up a Gofundme for him to try to raise funds so he can get back on his feet. I’ve set the target at $1000, but hope to raise more.

Look, this guy is one of the most genuine, funny, talented and caring people I know. He has a teenage son who also lost his valuables to the flood.

He lost pretty much everything in this disaster, even his cat who sadly drowned.

So I’m asking for your help. Please please please share the link to the fundraising page and, extremely cheeky of me I know, perhaps you’d consider bunging a couple of quid to help reach (and hopefully exceed) the target.
