oh i dont know sometimes i just wish i had somewhere to write down the shit that goes through my head and i know clearly thats what this could be used for but im still terrified that somebody's gonna come across it and i feel like an idiot talking about people i know and interact with and them not having a single clue

i dunno sometimes i just have these days like today where everything i try and do doesnt seem to go to plan and its a struggle for me to even get motivated and get out of bed. i dont know why it happens and i dont know what to say about it but i just feel the absolute worst and i dont know

ive been really struggling with one of my essays this semester because i picked a particularly hard question but it was the one i was most interested in, and you know when you do a lot of reading then look at the question again and it just...clicks? that so just happened. snaps for lauren!

ahh ive been meaning to do so much work tonight and i just havent, gonna have to seriously spend the next few hours before i go to bed getting shit done. had the most unreal birthday on thursday, like seriously. without a doubt the best birthday ive ever had. chris stayed over wednesday night since he couldnt stay thursday since a few of my faves from back home were coming up to visit, and it was just so nice to wake up on my birthday to him there. he even got me a few presents which i really wasnt expecting him too, and they;re so 'me' as well so he got it so right. it was so lush to see some of my friends from home, the girls here spoilt me, the kitchen was absolutely rammed during pre drinks and i literally just had one of the best nights out ever. definitely had something to do with the fact that we were on something but still, unreal.  im just so happy at the minute! except for the sheer amount of work i have to do, but you know when it just feels like everything is slowly falling together? i feel like that. it feels good.

a post in the femsoc group has literally turned into "oh no you have offended the menz that were commenting!!!" despite the fact to convey his point he used a number of ~ironic sexist jokes and ridiculous comments. but it was ironic so dont attack him!!! really though gtfo
