I would hope so, from my understanding and experience the problem in the lives of both cis gendered women and trans people is patriarchy without exception, gender constructs have an explicit purpose and that is to subjugate a group of people and to create division and when someone doesn't obey that ideology misogyny and transphobia are the first to respond.
trans people no matter the context are people who don't adhere to the idea that genitals should define your life or status or clothes or anything, as an agender who does not personally experience gender dysphoria or euphoria my knowledge on those subjects is limited but what I do understand is that they aren't playing by the rules and get killed about it.
particularly trans women, I have trans people in my life and there is both trans fems and trans mascs and trans women are treated like predatory monsters with a master plan of spending tens of thousands of dollars, being rejected from their friends and family, having to find a whole new community to do something cis men can just do for free. a cis man can walk into a women's restroom assault someone and wouldn't even have to say anything and men on the internet can and would defend him and he would odds are get a slap on the wrist.
Trans men in the best case scenario get treated as incompetent like "awe the stupid kind of person wants to play as the smart kind" and in the worst case get assaulted by men. I am paraphrasing trans issues for space, both trans men and women face a fuck ton of diverse issues for a number of reasons but at the end of the day it all trickles down to trans women either get treated like men in disguises or how misogynistic minds want to treat women and trans men get treated like women in disguises or how misogynistic minds think men should be treated.
many of them do end up following gender roles but honestly I think its cause that's how they've always seen the opposite sex, this is speculation so take it with a grain of salt but I feel like because so many people are gender norm brained when they do transition they kind of fill a role they recognize, imo trans women with body hair are valid and trans men who shave it off are valid, trans women who look masc are valid and trans men who look fem are valid, gender is all made up, we literally make it up, there ain't girl things or boy things, there ain't girl clothes or boy clothes we are all just fucked up apes that decided to make a bunch of shit up. wear the clothes that make you happy and feel good looking, call yourself/others things that make you/them feel happy after that abolish public restrooms I don't wanna share a bathroom with anyone ever and I don't know why anyone wants to, y'all don't wanna hear or smell me shit, I swear to god it could kill a horse.
I don't feel like I have to explain just how damaging patriarchy is to women, news articles, studies, books and entire communities can show its blatant. the men at the top of the world can only maintain their status at the top of the world via exploitation and abuse, be that sex based, economic based, race based it is all connected to one central idea.
the ones at the top must maintain the top, of course exploiting women and causing them direct harm and bolstering the ego of men benefits them, if they all truly felt they were on equal footing then they might be able to look upwards and fight back, women are abused and killed and raped for imo two reasons,to either keep their self esteem so low that they never have a thought of standing up for themselves, in their relationships, in their work places, in politics. they must feel subservient at all times so that way they are out of the runnings all together, or they must be angry enough to lash out, push people away and become hyper isolationist and stand as the crown example of "feminists have gone to far" be the ones misogyny points at to say "see we have to abuse women, politically and financially and sexually and physically cause they hate us and they wish we were dead!" they want enough women to actually defend themselves that men who are treated like royalty go "oh no no no I can't allow someone to defend themselves or I could lose my special privileges!"
men are spoiled petulant children, who are treated as mommy and daddy's special boy who can do no wrong for most of their lives, so once they grow up and people start telling them no you can't grope people in a bar, no you can't talk to a grown adult that way they double down on their behavior, it's this self contained loop of "I can do what I want and if I can't I'll hurt you" and "all I want is for you to stop hurting me" that keeps men in this cycle of perpetual privilege abd abuse to push them into violence and oppression of an entire biological class of people.
it's the dream mechanic of the patriarchy, men put in the elbow grease in their daily lives and the government can pass laws, the ruling class barely has to maintain the propaganda cause men will just believe their role in life is to rule and then just never want to lose that and this is gonna get real conspiracy like for a second, I think it's about right to your body, in a more literally sense. not just the right to transition or the right to remove a fetus or the right to equal treatment no matter the genitals, if the elites of this world wanted to have slave farms where they breed the lower class like cattle you gotta ease that system into normalcy, you only want people who can and want to reproduce to maintain existence, if you want people to give up use of their organs you have to ease it in, "you have to let a baby use you uterus or it will die!" they exclaim, and before you know it is "you have to let man get you pregnant it's his right!" and not long after it's "we can take your organs it's our right to your body!"
there is this huge inter connected web of both privileges and abuses that maintain our ruling classes ability to abuse the population at large, and the only way to fight back is with feminism, anti-racism, class consciousness, medicinal consciousness, and anti fascist/authoritarian action. fighting back requires all of us get educated and be dangerous to the point of removing the ruling class and starting this shit from scratch, because we only have each other, they only way we get out of this hell out is by banding together and eradicating the top 1% from exsistance.
