Happy Tanabata Day… kinda late, Sorry I got sick but that won’t stop me completely! So I kinda cheated and merged yesterday’s prompt with today’s prompt. Anyway…

As some might know once every 7 of July two souls reunite again, sharing that special day with each other. Part of that festive date is wishing for something on a Tanzaku. But, what could they wish for? They have to think very well since it looks like the wishes do come true on unexpected ways.

Marxolor Week '25 Day 7: Wish+Paradise

Marx's soul includes a mad fragment of a higher god. A god grows in power by collecting souls into a collective. Marx kind of has that ability, though he doesn't know how to do it on command. Magolor's soul had been linked to him during a time of great emotional distress (Mags in the process of dying) in an environment heavily saturated in magic, giving them a telepathic link, similar to how a god reserves the soul of a follower. In this case Magolor got a share of the power and immortality.

The eventual end result is a merging into the collective. Their powers and personalities combine. Marx's corrupted god fragment results in a messed up version of this. The lack of a proper nucleus renders their collective of two unstable. Twice as powerful, and twice as insane. Imagine their personalities combined. Absolute menace. The proportion of whose personality manifests more varies. They compromised on a form between their own. The catalyst for their merging was probably also great emotional distress. Individually (the collective members exist as individuals and as a fusion projected outward as the singular entity, simultaneously), they probably aren't having the best time in there. Magolor can hear the mad fragment now, and the lucid dreaming like state they are supposed to exist in might be a bit on the nightmarish side. They are aware of what the outward self is doing.

Is this really what they wanted?

They exist in this state for a long time before Kirby finally figures out how to separate them from the fragment and sets them up with a new born god to begin a collective with and they advance in power properly this time.

So ive seen people do this sort of daily challenge featuring magolor and Marx (a very popular ship in the Kirby fandom) so i decided to do one purely because its day 6 for this lil activity labeled “soul”
