i’m watching the festa video and i wanna talk about yoongi right now.. he mentioned, when he was asked about the AMAs/BBMAs, that he’s been really introspective and worried about what’s next for him. he said that he feels so pressured (not just by others but mainly himsef) to do better and better, because he’s so scared of that feeling of “this is it, this is as far as i can go” that it made him cry. not only that, he talked about being with his family and how they told him they’d love him even if he wasn’t “bts’ suga” and they said they didn’t understand why he was acting so paranoid? he mentioned feeling sad about everything that’s happened because he’s scared of the end. it reminds me of their message in “young forever”, about how this is all they want to do in life, but at some point the stage lights will fade. then, after being so emotional, yoongi shared that he wrote down something for an interview and those words were “falling may be scary, but landing isn’t”… he wanted to show that even if this is as high as they can go, and even though that feeling can be nostalgic and frightening, he finds comfort in knowing they walked the path they chose and they ultimately succeeded, despite all odds. :’)
