tumblr is the safest social media to open in public bc nobody recognises its interface. if u recognise it thats ur problem

tumblr creating a group chat feature that was so horribly designed no one ever wanted to use it (and inexplicably publicly visible?), phasing it in by infecting random users without making an announcement, watching as it sat unused for like a year, and then wordlessly removing it is such a deeply tumblr act. you don't get this anywhere else

this is our fault guys. we were icarus and all those posts about Tumblr being the best social media was us making a bee-line for the sun. we brought this on ourselves. our clown shoes are on fire and we are plunging towards the sea with our red noses honking sadly in the wind.  

I don’t know what the fuck is happening, but I enjoy the melodrama of these sentences. Really pushing that fatalistic despair.
