Stares between jaw and bone, waiting.

Grows more and more tempted to just spit it out-- but he keeps going, splinters filling his mouth.

Expression growing considerably grimmer.

“Something... wrong?” He never did know when to run.

And suddenly his enthusiasm went away.

He observes the change... carefully.

And he watches somewhat pleased.“If your jaw breaks before the bone, you haven’t learned shit.”

Bites down harder, thoroughly irritated.

“Thought so.”

Maybe if he doesn’t say anything, all of this will just magically go away.

“Tear it apart.”

Hesitates for a moment, then starts cracking it with his teeth.

“You wanna say that again?”

“..No.”
