It's been a few months since you had taken in this... Scrapped metal animatronic bear. Your mother didn't understand your obsession with this heap of garbage- But can you even call it that? He wasn't garbage, and you weren't "obsessed" with it. On the contrary, he had seemed to have taken quite the liking to you. But was it obsession that couldn't keep you two apart? No, probably not. It was curiosity. You wanted to understand the animatronic better, study him, see just how it ticked... You felt completely in control. But you weren't, he could hurt you, he could do many things that you didn't know were even possible. For some reason though, he wants to keep you around. He has you wrapped around his finger... You had talked to him a few times, about "fixing him". With a nice paintjob, or maybe some new parts, to replace the old one. Your father was a mechanic, so you knew one or two things about... Cars. Same difference though, right? He always got somewhat aggressive whenever you brought up the topic, so you decided you wouldn't ask him anymore.
As you sat in front of him in your father's workshop, a damp washrag in hand as you softly cleaned up the gunk from his stomach hatch. You always wondered... How did he get so dirty? You trudged into Funtime Freddy’s area, flashlight in hand. You did not want to deal with any of this shit today, especially not Freddy’s shit. He loved to toy with you and make your job that much more difficult than it already was. It felt like eternity and you were only a week into this purgatory of a job. You get paid at two weeks, if you don’t take the choice of a gift basket, which you weren’t.
Baby said on your third night that you must not value your life too much if you keep choosing to come back here, but frankly you have no choice. You need the money. You need to escape your house for at least some time. Sure you’d even make more doing dishes somewhere, but it wasn’t worth the trouble to keep applying to other places that would reject you for “lack of experience”.

Bon bon kind of acts like a comfort plush! Totally not projection here, but bon bon is one of the only things that can calm him down, as he has severe anger and ego issues.
He gets bored easily. That man has ADHD, and I refuse to believe otherwise.
He has full control over his endoskeleton and the pressure that his body plates open. They often open aggressively, unlike the others opening more gently, as he uses it to startle mechanics. Oh and he can use his wires to drag people deeper into his chest cavity. Fun!
He has a special interest in death and torture, and genuinely finds it interesting. If he could, he would probably see what some of the methods feel like on himself- Alas, he's a robot, and doesn't bleed. (His favorite part is just seeing blood or deep wounds, it's an art form!)
Mechanics hate him, it's why he's so broken. He doesn't like being touched without his permission and so, if you don't seem like someone he'd like, don't even try. He put someone in the hospital for 8 weeks and may or may not be responsible for the deaths of two mechanics.
He thinks he's smarter than he actually is— He's hilariously easy to trick and surprisingly gullible at times.
He loves and I mean LOVES ironic stories, like the story of the Brazen Bull.

(For context, you're a mechanic, nightguard, and party planner all in one because fuck you, I want you to be stressed.)
If he likes you, have fun with being startled by him randomly, and never being able to have a normal day.
You most likely met when you had to painstakingly try to fix him (nobody else wanted to), and he actually found you interesting enough to NOT break your fingers... So, what happens after you catch his attention?
He follows you around, or bon bon follows you around. If one is interested, be sure that the other will be as well. Bon bon is probably curious about you, and trying to see what makes you special to freddy in contrast to the others. Freddy just wants to learn more.
If this takes place DURING the events of sister location, you're so cooked. Instead of baby being your sole guide, you have an annoying, loud, impulsive bear telling you to trust him instead. And depending on if he actually likes you, which hopefully he does, he'll give you actually helpful information... While, of course, leaving a few details out, just to watch you squirm to fill in the blanks. At least you can use him as a free hiding spot, his treat! But this isn't really recommended, as it's very cramped, and giving him full control over what happens to you is NOT a good idea.
Bon bon on the other hand, is actually very helpful to you on your night shifts. He has a lot of old tales and drama to tell that makes the night feel a little shorter, and they're a great conversationalist. Not to mention if you have anxiety, they're excellent at calming people down, whether it be by singing softly or reassurance. They're a precious creature. (And as a little extra, if they could, they'd get heart eyes whenever they saw you!)
Compared to freddy, bon bon is very soft hearted for the most part, but he still has a few sadistic streaks. He too, gets a little thrill from spooking people and heebeing some jeebies. He sometimes goes along with freddy on his less hurtful ideas, or tries to spook you himself! (Most of the time, he is just greeted with being called a cutie muffin sweetie pie, but it's worth a shot.)
Like he is in the games, Funtime Freddy is cunning, intelligent, and highly homicidal. Depending on how someone reacts to him, he will decide if they're worth his time or not.
His right hand (the hand he has Bon Bon on) can be replaced with Bonnet or another normal Funtime Freddy hand.

Author's note: Sorry for taking so long with this, I kept having to rewrite it. Just a fair warning I'm pretty rusty when it comes to fanfic writing, so I apologize for the quality and ooc-ness

You were likely an intern like Green. The two of you were able to bond over your shared position, both in work and in life. If things had been different maybe the two of you could've had an actual relationship, platonic or romantic. But things didn't work out that way.
When "Green" fell you helped them up. Maybe it was out of care for them or a feeling of obligation to do something and help. Regardless it's what got "Green" interested in you . The fact you had blindly helped them meant you'd be an easy target for them to check off the box, at least that's how it started.
When White died you suggested Green stick with you, for safety. Regardless if it was for your safety and masking it as for both of yours or if you were genuinely concerned over Green's worry, they agreed.
They didn't really want to as it meant they 100% couldn't kill you as 2/3 of the new crewmates dying would either make Green an assumed target for murder, or of murder, which was bad enough. But adding in them being with you most as a factor? Yeah no.
They'd likely have a talk about it to Orange INSISTING your off limits to be killed given the former reasons.
You would sometimes go ahead of them to make sure an area was safe or insist the two of you held hands so if there was a killer they'd be outnumbered. It was cute to them in a way.
But you also ended up being somewhat easy to get rid of when it came to tasks as all they really needed to do was REALLY insist they needed to do it by themselves using whatever excuse you believed. They found it somewhat endearing how every time they brought it up you got concerned and fearful, regardless of who the emotions were directed at. Silly Y/N, you have nothing to fear, Green isn't going to get hurt, and neither are you...yet.

When Orange got ejected Green fully expected you to distance yourself from them as to your knowledge the one and only killer alien was gone, but you didn't. When it came to cleaning up Lime's body you were near them. Yes it was also your job to clean up said body, but you didn't have to be close to them. Sure you were unaware of the danger you were in. Green could've killed you right there and then, but didn't, they aren't fully sure why. You ended up offering to finish the rest of the cleaning, which gave them the chance to sabotage the oxygen.
At the party Green kinda stuck by you through the whole thing insisting you take it easy. You had just finished cleaning up a body, you really SHOULD TAKE IT EASY and AVOID EXERTING YOURSELF. It was really the closet Green had gotten to showing proper care for you. Wanting you to live longer than the other's, just a bit.
When everyone was given oxygen they allowed you to go before them. "Y/n are you sure you got enough oxygen? You don't look that well." They told you after they had gotten theirs. Sure using you to try take oxygen away from everyone was rather low, but at least they considered allowing you to get some more before they pulled their stunt.
Red ended up paring you off in the light fixing group, which Green initially took as an opportunity to kill you. Nobody would suspect them, they were with Purple "listening" to their tragic backstory they insisted they shared. You happened to arrived before the rest, making you alone and even more of the perfect kill. You were struggling with wires none the wiser Green's true form was right behind you ready to strike. But they didn't, they instead just watched you for a moment. Sure they had been with you for most of your time on the ship, but they hadn't really seen how you act by yourself. You struggling, getting frustrated to a degree that was covered up to a degree, you even seemed more visibly afraid. It all felt so personal, almost intimate. One of Green's tentacles slowly reached out towards you, brushing against your hand for a brief but almost unnoticeable moment, and placed a correct wire in your hand. They watched you struggle for a moment, somewhat confused on where it had come from, but get a light in the box on. Seeing you actually happy gave them a strange warmth.
No they couldn't be, they couldn't be actually growing attached to you! Sure before this they favored you more than the other's, but it was for their own gain. You had shown to be somewhat useful, it was because of that, not genuine care!
Thankfully, (for you) Cyan and Yellow showed up, so they didn't have to kill you and could prolong acknowledging their growing attachment to you.
When Yellow and you can back with the lights fixed panicked over Cyan's death they attempt to comfort you. Your panicking over the fact Cyan was so close to you and you could've easily been killed. As much as Green is good at faking their emotions they struggle actually responding to others. Especially yours on such short notice. So instead of telling you everything is going to be alright or any words of comfort, they just hold you.
When you're being held you notice how cold Green was. Their body felt like ice against yours. The longer you were held by them the less it felt like you were being held by a friend you held dear, but a corpse. But Green was still very much alive, so that couldn't have been the case, right?
When the vote to figure out who killed Cyan happened, Yellow and Black were the main suspects given Black's fight with Cyan and Yellow being covered in blood. It was everything Green had really been expecting, one of the two would get voted off and it would be a body already taken care of. But then you got thrown out as a suspect. It had some ground, you were also in the room where it happened like yellow.
"I can't be the killer! I had no reason to kill Cyan, me and them got along fine, unlike Black. If I really was a killer alien don't you think I would've targeted Green? Me and them are alone have been alone more times than fingers on my hands. But both Green and I are alive, so neither one of us could be the killer. Green i"m safe right?" You reasoned. All eyes fell onto Green and they were left with a choice, throw you under the bus or save you.
For a moment everything stopped and they were just left with a sinking feeling slowly growing. You could actually get voted off. Green could be losing their backup plan, their alibi, you. For the first time Green actually felt worry for you and a realization much to their dismay they DO care about you.
So against their better judgement they defend you. "Well Y/n and I have been together most of the time. And they haven't killed me, so I trust them." You looked at them in relief and green felt another pang of their attachment.
Eventually as a way to prove innocent everyone started dumping their bags, the evidence Green planted in Yellow's bag made them the easy vote off.
While everyone watched in horror as Yellow drifted off into space and not explode, Green's thoughts were else where. They were attached to you, a crewmate for some reason. It was almost embarrassing in a way. Surely there HAD to be a reason?! The only thing notable was your trust in them. No that's it, they wanted you alive so they could see the look on your face when you realize the one you trusted the most was the killer. But they couldn't kill you yet, it would only actually be impactful if you were the only one left.
They looked at you, trembling in what you had just done. They grabbed your hand in an act of attempted comfort, only for yours to squeeze back. Maybe you figured it out. Maybe you knew and had realized a long time ago. Or maybe you were truly clueless, but you let that act of comfort continue. They're going to keep you alive, at least until the end.
So I've actually gotten into the new among us show and spoiler underneath because I will be talking about the imposter but it's x reader/oc (haven't fully decided which route I'm going to go yet) related for context
Please just hear me out, Green x a crewmate who've they started to favor. So my vision is that the crewmate was on good terms with Green before the alien took them over, willing to hang out with them alone under the assumption they had a budding friendship and trusting them. Green initally keeping them around as an alibi if needed, but growing somewhat fond of them. Maybe they find them enterating. How amusing they find their loyatly, willing to defend the fact they were together for most of the time, and while they were apart there's no way Green could be the imposter. How concered they are for their saftey when they're the threat.
I don't think Green would recognize or accept the attachment at first. I mean they're just a crewmate they'll easily kill at somepoint. But then the Crewmate gets accused, it's breif only for a moment, but long enough to cause Green to feel a negative emotion. Fear? Worry? Concern? No that can't be right, they're just their alibi and future victim.
As a roundabout way to accept it they come up with a new plan. Killing crewmates has been a cakewalk for the most part, wouldn't it be more interesting and fun to add a challange? And what better challange would it be to keep their alibi of a Crewmate off the radar and have them be the last one remaining? The look of betrayal on their face would be priceless, knowing they stood by and defended them. The despair they'd feel knowing they're the last one. But they'd have to keep them alive until then. I mean it they got voted off they couldn't have their grand reveal.
I can't fully decide on whag type of love Green would feel for the Crewmate other than it being love. Would they love them enough to change their mind and spare them if their plan worked out? Maybe. Would them backing away in fear after watching Green seemigly eat Red and Purple sting? Likely
