Found this yesterday! No idea how 'historically accurate' it is, but it does include all the more unheard of characters from this time period, which I think is cool!

Also it looks very pretty and the KS bundle is so much cheaper than a typical board game of this size/quality. If nothing else, I'll happily add it to my Frev collection just for the map/booklet~ Figured I'd share for any board game enthusiasts/collectors of pretty Frev related things :3

So I've read "la croix aux cœurs" by Gilles de Becdelièvre. I'm not French, I do learn it at school so I translate most of it using google🥲. Anyway, it's quite a good story. Short summary, Renée Bordereau (L'angevin) and Prince de Talmont they are the protagonists. They have like an romance? Kinda? Like the tension is there, but they are in the middle of termoil. It's such a random pairing😂. Also, the book mentioned also the gruesome things both sides committed(blues and blancs). I made a drawing, because I haven't drawn on my tablet in a longggg time.

I don't really like him, but he had style ig. Idk the painting was made a while later when he was already death. His head on a pike yikes. Imagine💀

Am I the only one who was kind of pissed about how the press handled Ilia’s skate? Like they were interviewing him literally minutes after the results were announced. And before you try and tell me oh that’s just how it works or he’s an athlete he’s used to it, just know that I think that’s a bullshit system. He’s a 21 year old kid who has already been put on a ridiculously high pedestal by the press, and now they’re trying to use what’s probably one of the worst moments of his life to boost viewership. That’s complete bullshit. He handled it very gracefully but he really shouldn’t need to. Reporters should have enough common decency to give him some goddamn space before they start interrogating him.
