"Do not die on me." //*throws thing at you*
Her vision was blurred, spots dancing in it and periodically fading in and out of blackness. It took a moment for Lindaâs words to register, and when Sasume blearily over to the CROW a small part of her laughed at the strong but almost sweet metallic scent hanging in the air.
She swallowed, immediately entering a painful coughing fit when she felt something in the back of her throat. Just at the small motion the world spun again, and when everything refocused the only thing she could really register was the brunette hovering over her.
Everything else, it seemed, she was painfully oblivious to.
She could remember it, of course. When sheâd been blasted backward by an Akuma, through yet another wall, Shizen thrown so far away from her it deactivated.
But she couldnât quite place the rest of it.
Why, after sheâd hit the ground, she couldnât find the strength to move. Or why, almost immediately, her part-bodyguard part-friend had immediately started screaming some panicked words as she ran toward her and futilely placed her hands against the wound she herself didnât even notice.
"Oh, please," she cracked weakly, entering another coughing fit that had a bead of blood dribbling out of the corner of her mouth. "Iâll be fine,"
She was in shock, it would seem.
Totally unaware of how, when sheâd gone through that wall, a piece of the buildingâs piping had gone through her just as well and was now jutting out of her side. Or the blood that was seeping out, soaking the fabric of her clothes around it and already forming a puddle beneath her, the otherâs hands and edges of her sleeves covered in the ruby substance.
