God went into Adam and took his rib and made a woman out of Adam’s rib. I guess God didn’t really take anything from Adam; He simply made two out of one, so the two could enjoy being one. He gave Adam his rib back with love.

oh my god. most of life really is about the little things. a good haircut, a nice playlist, trying a new recipe that turns out well, a poem that hits home, a comfortable spot in the sun, spontaneous messages, a pen you enjoy writing with, tea with the right temperature to drink, buying that thing you’ve been eyeing for a while, a warm bed. yeah. im so grateful for the little enjoyments

call me soft or whatever but i find it so incredible that people manage to keep themselves alive. like you’re paying rent?? maintaining relationships?? going to work?? every day single day?? in this economy?? on the mental diet we’ve all been raised on?? the effort you must be putting into your life simply by living it is olympian. and it is impressive
