Chapter One: The New Kid

Story Summary: Roman has to have a completely new start. New school, new town, new home and a new family. As a kid in his first foster home, Roman isn’t prepared to trust these people and get hurt again, but he’s not the only kid in the house recovering from past issues. Regardless, their foster father Patton is ready to be the dad they’ve always needed, and traumatized kids learn to lean on each other for support.

“Logan, Virgil?” Patton called out from downstairs. “Can you come down here? I wanna talk about something with you!”

Virgil and Logan gave each other curious looks from their sitting places on the same bed. Virgil placed his phone on the nightstand beside him as Logan set his book down at the foot of the bed, both standing up to exit Virgil’s bedroom and head downstairs. At the dining room table was their foster father, Patton, smiling wide with a laptop and notepad in front of him.

“What’s up?” Virgil asked after he and Logan glanced at each other. 

Patton giggled to himself, “Sit down for a second and I’ll tell you! Nothing bad, promise. I think it’s very exciting.”

They quickly sat at the table on the other side of Patton. “So,” Patton joked, “I bet you’re wondering why I’ve gathered you all here today!”

Logan and Virgil spoke in unison. “You’re getting another foster kid.”

The crowd cheering after the first stanza when they realize what they’re all doing

So many people audibly ‘doing the guitar parts’… like ya do

The sheer number of voices joining the rediculous falsetto (thanks, Roger)

How they all start jumping at the ramp-up “so you think you can stomp me”

Knight Logan who worked his way up to the top because he studies his opponents and learns how to exploit their weakness.

Knight Logan who will recite the entire knight code to you if you ask for it or break a rule.

Knight Logan who started out as a scholar but was fascinated by swords and learned how to use one.

Knight Logan who strategizes all their attacks or defensive maneuvers to protect the castle.

Knight Logan who is thirsted over but either doesn't care or is oblivious to the fanclub following him.

Knight Logan who is cocky about his win to loss ratio and had the skill to back it up.

Knight Logan who will knock someone flat on their ass when they're being stupid without hurting anything but their pride.

I found this out recently. I’ve always been told my fainting/dizzy spells during my period were iron related but I did some research and because I have a history of low blood pressure and fainting related to it (in times of a restricted diet and pregnancy) it’s far more likely that’s the reason I’m fainting

Not to mention the dip in your immune system when you lose that much blood, just because of all the white blood cells pouring out along with the rest of it. 

Summary: Somewhere before Roman posted Psychic to YouTube, but after he and Virgil had their falling out, Roman goes into the studio to pitch a song. Warnings: Mention of parental abuse (in passing), homophobia, music/music label, slight Roman angst

A/N: im back from the dead! this was a chapter i had written after chapter twelve, but before @lovecrazyjennybear and i started writing chapter thirteen. this originally was gonna be chapter thirteen but that got scrapped for the actual chapter thirteen we had. i still like how it turned out, so i thought i’d post it! though, it does bring some continuity into question so just like. don’t think too hard about it, i guess? taglist at the end

summary: Lately, Patton’s been feelings hazy. Smiles feel fake, He can’t get out of bed, and his brain just can’t seem to shut up. Everything feels impossible, but Patton is confident that his dads don’t have a clue as to what is going on. As long as he isn’t infecting them with sadness, everything will be okay.That plan goes great, until one day Logan walks in on him unable to get out of bed, and it turns out that his dads know more than he thought they did.

It was Muslims who contributed much to mathematics like Algebra and Trigonometry, which was imported over to Europe 300 years later to Fibonnaci and the rest.

It was Muslims who discovered that the Earth was round 500 years before Galileo did.

The list goes on………..

Just imagine a world without Muslims. Now I think you probably meant, JUST IMAGINE A WORLD WITHOUT TERRORISTS. And then I would agree, the world would definitely be a better place without those pieces of filth. But to hold a whole group responsible for the actions of a few is ignorant and racist. No one would ever expect Christians or White people to be held responsible for the acts of Timothy McVeigh (Oklahoma bombing) or Anders Breivik (Norway killing), or the gun man that shot Congresswoman Giffords in head, wounded 12 and killed 6 people, and rightly so because they had nothing to do with those incidents! Just like the rest of the 1.5 billion Muslims have nothing to do with this incident!
