I had no idea my “just a rant” post would blow up as much as it did. I was just ranting and I had no intention of offending anyone. I saw someone comment that they are overweight and worry about hurting a nurses/CNA’s back when moving them. My post was not directed toward people like that! My post was about the overweight people that don’t care about hospital staff and are very demanding. Btw, I would never abuse a patient, no matter what their size was. Believe it or not, I’m not a mean person and I’d never hurt anyone intentionally. I’m fat myself so I don’t hate fat people. I am anti health at every size though.

Depression
I’ve had depression for a few years now. It has never been as bad as it was September of last year to July of this year. I was miserable and depressed for about 10 months. Nothing I did to try to feel better helped. I tried to exercise, journal, etc and nothing worked.
A couple of months ago, I went to a new psychiatrist and she put me on a new medication. Boy let me tell you. Going to a new psychiatrist was the best thing I’ve ever done. I’ve been feeling great consistently for about one month.
The point of me writing this is to let you all know to not me scared of getting help. It doesn’t even have to be medication, therapy has also helped me tremendously.
Take care of yourselves! You’re worth it.

Why I’m Not A Feminist
