Yes, she is a descendant of the fire nation royal family, directly from Zuko’s line, and equally as dramatic as them. She also starts off not knowing she is the heir because the monarchy has um, collapsed… from some tragedy.

And I thought… why not actually design her like a deity. Not from the greek pantheon of course, she is of asian descent. I also just made up a divine title for her that matches her canon arc in our story.

I don’t like the naming part though, the online name generators are my friend… I don’t care if they sound generic or corny 😭

This is so fucking wild to me because how did we go from random funny video that lives rent free in my head to… microwaving pets?? And the audacity to call me, a minimum wage college instructor from a third world country that makes WAY less than a fastfood worker in the US, “naive”? If we’re going to have a contest on who is suffering more in this economy (which we shouldn’t), I believe I have the right to be more pessimistic about my station, hell I AM pessimistic and clinically diagnosed with depression, but I am not going to spend the rest of my life wallowing in how miserable the world is. If doomscrolling is warping your perception of reality, go offline. Clearly, us non-billionaires are suffering under late stage capitalism and with corrupt leaders running our governments, but cling to a little bit of hope, god forbid. I know it sounds delusional but isn’t that the point of living.
