“are you gonna have a tantrum? you better not, little girl.” shauna watched you stomp your foot in the department store the two of you were in. you slightly kick a rack of hangers, making a loud noise in that part of the clothing store.

shauna sighed, grabbing your wrist and taking you out to the car. she was very ready to put you in timeout at home. you began to cry when she put you in the backseat, buckling your seatbelt. she got in and started the car, hating to hear your little fussy cries.

“when we get home, you’re going straight into timeout, little girl. am i clear?” she looked at you through the rearview mirror. you whined in response, crossing your arms and looking out the window. shauna sighed again, trying to get home as quick as she could.

she pulled into the driveway, opening the sliding door of her van to get you out of the back. she opened the front and sent you straight to the corner. but something in her couldn’t let you go into timeout. you were headed to timeout when you heard your mommy say “oh, c’mere, sweetie.”

you get scooped up into your mommy’s lap, getting a kiss on the cheek from her. “mommy’s sorry, babygirl. it’s okay.”

“i know you didn’t mean to be naughty, baby. yknow mommy forgives you.”

- you colored on the wall ONCE and now may doesn’t even blink while he watches you color 😭

- bouncing/shushing you when you start crying bc of your stuffy nose (it gets even more stuffy and you get more fussy 😭)
