In recent years and maybe ever hands down Talking Heads, I mean they've changed the way I think about art, music, celebrity, myself, and the people around me. They've changed the way I engage in music, in art. They've introduced to so much more music, film, art etc. And they got me into Punk which has very much changed my attitude toward concerts, fashion, my place in the world, etc etc.

Also not to get too personal, I've mentioned a few times on here I'm on a waiting list to get assessed for autism, and being into David Byrne has really made me feel better about that. Made me think that I can live a fulfilling life, in a way that I want to.

Obviously getting older, the people in my life, and other art is added to this, but Talking Heads have had a big part of that.

Oops, that's a lot of questions to answer! But I'm curious!

24. Which music did you grow up with thru parents and siblings?

Okay....so my dad always loved The Fall, and I really hated them for a long time. Now I finally gave in, and I love them. My mum is much more into Leonard Cohen and stuff like that. My parents do have a decent overlap of music they like. I've adopted some of there music taste (Leonard Cohen, The Fall, XTC, N.W.A, etc) and they do like some punk music, and they're pleased that I'm into Punk hahaha which is nice. They are into lots of 90s stuff, which I never adopted, apart from Belle and Sebastian ofc. My sister is into hyperpop, I see the appeal, and I enjoy it when she plays it for me, but I don't really listen to it myself.

64. Favourite music docus?

I'm not gonna count concert films. Île Ayee by David Byrne is good! There's a docu about Fela Kuti, but I haven't watched it yet. Also, there's one about Poly Styrene, which I started, haven't finished, and I hated it. Oh, I love The Sparks Brothers, of course. It was super fun to watch and one of the things that got me into Sparks. Talking Heads Chronology is lovely, and it always reminds me of why I fell in love with the band in the first place <3.

69. Which supergroup would you form?

Oooo good question, I mainly love bands, so this is tough. Okay....Poly Styrene on vocals, Tina Weymouth on Bass, Jonathan Richman on guitar, Karl Burns, and Paul Hanley on drums.

76. Craziest facts you know about a band/muscian?

Mmm...there are so many Deepcut facts I know about Talking Heads, but I can't think of any rn, and I'm also terrible at judging wether they are Deepcut and "crazy" or not. Mmm...Jean Micheal Basquait and David Byrne would get high tgt....David asked for gallons of milk for Stop Making Sense apparently. I feel like Jerry was sorta shaddy, but I got no way to prove it. There's probably more stuff cant think of it rn sry
