Pixel post dividers for everyone! It's not much, but feel free to use them if you'd like. I don't know the ideal size for these, so let me know if they're too tall. I can make them a bit shorter next time.

whyyy do shows and movies all pull out "well we don't follow leviticus' laws so that means we're all hypocritical" when they want to make a point about christianity and all the characters are always Shocked like the reasons why christians only follow some old testament laws aren't discussed AT LENGTH in the new testament????
"oh we eat bacon we're all sinners so we don't get to have any opinion about moral arguments ever" is not a gotcha. Acts 15 answered that for you.
5 Then some of the believers who belonged to the party of the Pharisees stood up and said, “The Gentiles must be circumcised and required to keep the law of Moses.” 6 The apostles and elders met to consider this question. 7 After much discussion, Peter got up and addressed them: “Brothers, you know that some time ago God made a choice among you that the Gentiles might hear from my lips the message of the gospel and believe. 8 God, who knows the heart, showed that he accepted them by giving the Holy Spirit to them, just as he did to us. 9 He did not discriminate between us and them, for he purified their hearts by faith. 10 Now then, why do you try to test God by putting on the necks of Gentiles a yoke that neither we nor our ancestors have been able to bear? 11 No! We believe it is through the grace of our Lord Jesus that we are saved, just as they are.” 12 The whole assembly became silent as they listened to Barnabas and Paul telling about the signs and wonders God had done among the Gentiles through them. 13 When they finished, James spoke up. (...) 19 “It is my judgment, therefore, that we should not make it difficult for the Gentiles who are turning to God. 20 Instead we should write to them, telling them to abstain from food polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, from the meat of strangled animals and from blood.” (...)
The Council’s Letter to Gentile Believers 22 Then the apostles and elders, with the whole church, decided to choose some of their own men and send them to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas. (...) With them they sent the following letter: The apostles and elders, your brothers, To the Gentile believers in Antioch, Syria and Cilicia: Greetings. 24 We have heard that some went out from us without our authorization and disturbed you, troubling your minds by what they said. 25 So we all agreed to choose some men and send them to you with our dear friends Barnabas and Paul— 26 men who have risked their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. 27 Therefore we are sending Judas and Silas to confirm by word of mouth what we are writing. 28 It seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us not to burden you with anything beyond the following requirements: 29 You are to abstain from food sacrificed to idols, from blood, from the meat of strangled animals and from sexual immorality. You will do well to avoid these things. Farewell.
This is not some obsecure theological bad faith justification. It's the plain text of the foundational books of Christianity. From the inception of the church, its Jewish founders decided not to ask the non-Jewish followers of Christ to follow the mosaic law beyond the moral commandments. Anybody using bacon to make Christians characters question their beliefs is not making an actual criticism about the hypocrisy of Christians, rather it's just pointing out most people who don't know what Christianity is even about. IT'S THE EASIEST DUMBASS POINT TO ANSWER IN THE WORLLLLLLLD PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE I'm BEGGING you please retire it and use other, stronger points of criticism or debate I'm seriously begging.

the fact that derek and scott growing to love each other as brothers is one of the most emotionally fulfilling arcs of the show and I still have to scour ship blogs to find crumbs of their interactions because the fandom outright despises their relationship would have driven me INSANE had I been on tumblr when teen wolf was coming out ngl

I travel to France quite often, but I have a special love for the south and its lavender fields. Whenever I think of France, those endless purple landscapes are the first thing that comes to mind. I’m sure there are lavender fields in other regions too, but it’s the ones in the south that have stayed with me the most.Three years ago, I traveled through southern France, visiting Montpellier and several beautiful towns along the coast. I also visited a monastery, wandered through the lavender fields, and came home with hundreds of photographs that I later shared on my social media. Some time later, those memories inspired this painting. Of course, I didn’t paint the scene exactly as I saw it. I made the colors richer, the sunset brighter, and the atmosphere more expressive. That’s what I love about Impressionism—it isn’t about copying reality perfectly, but about capturing an emotion. Perhaps this wasn’t the exact feeling I had at that moment, but it’s the emotion that remained with me as a beautiful memory of that journey.
