The votes are in, Kishin it is! The changes made to his armor are really small bc the goddesses know I'll never be truly happy with it, but also? The last design was well-liked so I didn't want to do much with it anyway. Phoe said she likes the lower jewels/ neckline to highlight his broad shoulders though, and considering the jewels were originally designed to be embedded in his chest, putting them just above his collarbone was awkward to draw/ look at and probably uncomfortable for Kishin, so we moved them. Probably gonna keep fiddling with his look nonetheless

Also here's a somewhat quick and pretty dirty concept for a casual Kishin based on Termina NPCs

I should probably ask Phoe about this first but I don’t think she’d disagree.

That sounds like a good idea anon. I wanted to do that when things were back up and running again, but both of our attentions have been elsewhere, esp. during quarantine.

I’ll contact Phoe and see if she’s comfortable sharing what she’s been up to during these trying times, but I’ve been super into Sma/sh Bro/thers right now and am writing something for World of LIght as well. Maybe I’ll begin talking about it on my main account once I think I’m at a good point to begin sharing publicly.

As for right now regarding LtL, here’s a brief progress report in spite of us not really working on it that much (because in all honesty, you guys deserve to know):

- Adam’s backstory has been in progress since about September of last year. In spite of this, however, bc I’m the one writing the majority of it, things have been waaaaaay more detailed than they need to/ should be so things are going significantly slower than I’d like. By that I mean I’m only past the first dungeon. Right now I’m trying to compress what I have and then continue from that point on. Also we didn’t write anything for at least 3 months so that’s a big factor as well.

      - The fact that I’ve been trying to come up with dungeons and dungeon items as I go really doesn’t help does it. (TvT) Now that I’ve typed that out actually, I might just skip over that and give a 5000 ft overview of the adventure like the others. you know. like how I was supposed to >_> (seriously help i go into far to much detail when I’m writing)

- Writing Kishin’s backstory has been.... overwhelming and treacherous. I don’t think I can share much else.

- I’ve been wanting to get moving on Clam’s backstory since I got the idea for this blog but since BotW2 is a thing Phoe and I are playing it safe in case we get any information from the game. This might be a bad move but it’s what we’re doing right now.

- I have some old mini comics and stuff I could absolutely draw, but since my attention has been elsewhere... I doubt I’d be able to muster up the motivation draw any of them. Or any digital pictures in general bc we want you guys to have the highest quality we can give. Which sucks because I think about our Links every single day but I haven’t made anything worthwhile to show in months. (I do have a picture or two in my files that I’ve been meaning to post but one isn’t colored and the other looks terrible soooo)

     - I could start drawing an assortment of pictures to post every now and again! Not digitally, but in my sketchbook since drawing digitally takes a bit more oomph. I have a few doodles here and there but concept art will have to be verified with Phoe before posting, if at all. Spoilers and stuff like that. I know I just said that I’d rather give you guys digital stuff but a) it’s a tad more fun to draw on paper for me, and b) I’ve been getting desperate.

I’m not sure about Phoe, but I’m crossing my fingers that someday we’ll be able to be as productive for this page as when it started out. Truly. I miss doodling for ya’ll and answering your questions. I hope to see everyone soon.

- Phoe and I were talking a while ago regarding instruments the boys might play/ have played, and this one is the most interesting (to me at least):

based on the concept that Isle was raised/ attended to an inn/tavern, he had access to cups. glass cups.

What I’m trying to say is that Isle knows how to play a glass harp (and i really like this concept in particular)

- We updated Adam’s look!

some rather minor changes, but we wanted to further distinguish him from LU Four since the latter was modeled after the Hero of Men. Yes, those are Force Gems. And he’s got a pet Chirri! She’s called Loft, named after the Loftwings, a legend that fascinated our second Link here. Just as loyal as a Loftwing too.

- slight change to Clam too! He’s got an earring now :3

- If the Master Sword gets a fancy sheath then the Four Sword gets one too and that’s a fact (same goes for the Picori Blade but I haven’t even made a beta sketch for that scabbard yet)

In addition to a flashy scabbard, we upgraded the FS to have, instead of a cloth ribbon like in MC, magic ‘ribbons’ that come off two black orbs on either side of the hilt there. They become active whenever Div draws the blade. When split, each portion has only one ribbon.

- A loooooooooooooooooong time ago (like, the very first post), we said Clam helped develop the Shiekah Slate. We initially just left it at that but came up with the idea that he carries around a functional prototype/different version of the Slate with him at all times.

So yeah, he’s got something like this ^ (we haven’t fleshed out all it’s functions but this is pretty applicable) (also the actual name for the Sheikah Slate is the Shadow Pad, based on the ‘Shadow Folk’, an alternate name for the Sheikah)

Clam has his own motorcycle. I imagine him to be really good with it, but probably doesn’t do many aerial stunts with it. He’s not fond of heights after all xD

Ok that’s all we have for the time being. We’re glad to have dished out some meaningful content (for once), and hopefully we won’t fall off the face of the earth for another 6 months ^^’
