He heard someone getting closer to him, but he didn’t look up in hopes that whoever it was would walk past him. His patience wasn’t thin just yet, but he wasn’t exactly open to any conversations at the moment. Especially when he’s aware that not everyone who tries to talk to him particularly likes him. This doesn’t seem to be much different.

When footsteps stop right next to him, he forces himself to look up. His mind wandered off on who could possibly have anything to say to him, and who he saw brought an instinctive noise of disgust from his throat.

“Ohhhhh my god.” The immediate exhaustion that hit him at the sight of the other possibly broke a few records. He slams his locker shut, only for him to lean his body against it so he can glare up at him. Their interactions have never been something he can consider his favorites, he’s not going to take his chances and say that this one would be any better.

Maybe today’s the day he finally snapped and he is gonna punch me square in the face. In a way, he hopes this is why Larry decided to approach him. He’ll take any excuse he can find just so he can punch him back. He can’t say that out loud though, Larry has a punchable face, its better to assume he knows that too. The only reason he wasn’t the one to initiate anything yet was simply put, he hadn’t done anything to aggravate him that much yet. That and because he was aware someone wasn’t going to approve.

“Look I didn’t touch him today. Fact I didn’t even see the fucker all day today.” A part of him wanted to ask if Sally was okay, but decided to keep his mouth shut. He didn’t want more reasons for his guard dog to be after him. He’ll find out one way or another, he can always break into the apartments. Though that place tends to give him the creeps, he would rather avoid it when he can.

“So I don’t know why you’re here, but if you’re gonna yell at me or threaten me can you make it quick? I don’t wanna talk to you.” Maybe he’s too blunt for his own good, but it’s not like he has to pretend to like him. “I would literally rather do anything else right now.”

“W-Well, I-I guess we’re s-stuck here for a-a while h-huh?” The teddy bear onscreen promising death to every single person in the room sent shivers down his spine, he could feel the newfound burst of anxiety threatening to stick in his throat, but he attempts to push it down to keep his composure. He wanted to scream his lungs out, but that wasn’t going to help anyone or do anyone any good. Besides that’ll just bring attention to myself.

“I-Its n-not like he w-was serious, r-right?” I hope not. At this point he had been mumbling to himself, looking up he spotted another one of the students. They seem intimidating. Yet he forces himself to approach them anyways. If he can’t help himself, he may as well at least try and help someone else. His growing concern was more for the people around him and not his own wellbeing.

“H-Hi, y-you’re the Tennis P-Pro, a-aren’t you?” The first thing his light blue eyes landed on was the other’s hat. For some reason, it brought comfort to him. Maybe that was just him being childish. “Th-That’s a cool talent, I-I don’t have o-one, a-at least, I d-don’t remember i-if I do.” He can’t seem to remember much of anything, which was worrying, but maybe he shouldn’t bring it up now. “I-I’m Nieve, N-Nieve Angelus. I-I uh-uh-” He wasn’t sure where to go from there, conversations weren’t exactly his specialty.

“I-I’m just h-hoping we c-can g-get along. I-I know you d-don’t know m-me, but I’m gonna help g-get you out of here, I-I promise.”

             despite the fact that she knew his voice, eve couldn’t help but turn her head to look at larry when he finally spoke. his teasing and his laughter brought one of the most pathetic of frowns to her face that the world has ever seen. distress was obvious, “ i thought i’d be taking care of the eggies too, larry– ” words were no more than a whine and only did she relax once he had pulled her from the tree. limbs ached as it’s unclear just how long she’d been attempting to scale the tree and the second her feet hit the ground she moved to lay down rather than continue standing, damp grass ignored. “ –thank you. ”

             “ i thought them being attached to my bag was close enough. ” she was honestly lucky that it hadn’t ripped her whole bag from her. “ i…i don’t know how it got my keys…they were clasped on there! ” while no longer as obviously distressed, his amused expression is met with a pout of her own, arms draped tiredly over her eyes soon after. “ it’s…going fine. ” eve, he just found you latched onto a tree! “ i think i’m already ready for a nap, though. ”

             “ i can’t find barnabear, either. i just hope he isn’t causing trouble. ” she’s stressed.

“You’re welcome.” Laughter in his reply as he watches his friend lay down to the ground in what he can only assume was defeat. He wondered if he should tell her it wasn’t the best idea to deal with heartache this way, but instead he simply sits down on the ground, close enough so he can reach other and pat her head in comfort. At the very least they can wait here like this until Cinnamon gets back.

“False, that’s still not close enough. They need to be right in your hand, and even sometimes that isn’t close enough. Just be grateful Murkrow don’t like to be out this early in the morning, if those things ever took the keys you’ll neveerrr-” he raises his hand to show emphasis, “be able to open this daycare center again.” He wondered if Eve had to deal with anything similar back home, maybe not, if she wasn’t used to sneaky Pokemon pulling tricks whenever they want to. “You’ll get used to it, that is, if you plan on staying long.”

He snickers at the pout, head tilting to the side. “A giant bear walking unleashed in a region he doesn’t belong in? Yeah, I doubt that’s gonna cause any trouble.” His hand finally moves to lift her arm away from her face, showing his carefree smile. “I’m sure he’s fine. he could be exploring for all we know. I would be too if I was in a super cool and new place.” That’s what he hopes at least. He shares her worries, but he’s not going to admit that out loud.
