"Ah... you're trying to be a good boy, then?" Amara smirked. Werewolves weren't so complicated, you know. At least, not the ones that she liked. She clapped her hands together at his response, gesturing towards Cal's without further ado. "Me too. Well, as much as you can with a premium metabolism like mine. What's your poison? It's on me as I simply cannot go anywhere without being treated like a VIP."
"Trying to fight off my instincts. Hopefully, I don't run into Harry." Andrew smiled at her. He definitely was the kind of guy who liked to hit first and ask questions later. He started walking towards Cal's. "That must be rough. It's hard for me to get drunk, but not impossible. Tequila, you?"
"Just wait until they discover pitchforks," she tossed back but her eyes were becoming less and less narrowed by the second. He didn't sound like a monster, right? Actually, he sounded kinda... She didn't know, deflated or something? Not that she should let her guard down! No, Rhiannon Redfield was ready to go down swinging at any moment. "No," she replied quickly. Gwen would kill her. A pause, and then... "Maybe."
"And then fire not too long after. I will never survive." Andrew smiled; he appreciated this. Just talking to someone outside the manor who didn't treat him like a monster. Even if he deserved it, it had all gotten exhausting. "Don't worry, I won't tell anyone about the cigarette or you being nice to me." He offered her the cigarette.

"You know you could stop, right? You could stop any time." Jake didn't mean smoking but he wasn't about to elaborate. He hesitated then, folding his arms tightly across his chest. He should definitely get out of here. Nothing good could come of this. "Are you planning on loitering 'round here by yourself all day?"
Andrew really wished he could stop any of this, but it had all gone too far. He didn't really see how that was possible. "If you say so." He shrugged, looking at Jake. He wondered if the other man wanted to fight. "I mean, everyone else is at the manor, so alone is all I have right now. Why do you want to hang out?"
Katie let out an unexpected laugh at his answer. It was no secret that Oliver would deserve just that but she kept that little thought to herself. She looked into his eyes as he paused, searching for some sign that they really would be okay. That ends might justify the means. Katie put a lot on his shoulders, she knew that, and he always held her up. She didn't deserve him, but she couldn't help the way her shoulders relaxed at his promise. Even if he might not mean it, she still believed him. "We won't be here forever," she repeated softly. With that, she leaned closer and kissed him gently. "Thank you, Andrew."
Andrew wanted to be the person who made Katie feel better. She was the one good thing in this town that he had, so he would do anything that she needed. Even if it was a lot, he didn't notice. It was all worth it to see her relax, something that he knew was hard for her to do. "And when we get out of here, we are going to go wherever you want to." He would follow Katie pretty much anywhere. He smiled as he wrapped an arm around her waist. Kissing her back softly. "Anytime, beautiful."
"I was going to say...That would be a wild Pavlovian response to have created. Almost impressive, really." Blair shrugged. "I heard a rumor that fresh air is healthy or something. And spending too much time inside staring at my laptop gives me a headache."
Andrew nodded his head as he finished his cigarette, putting it out on the wall before finding a nearby trashcan to throw away the rest. "Fresh air is definitely nice; it can help, especially if you are on your computer a lot. The sun is nice, I guess. I am just doing anything to get away from everyone else."
Lexi smirked at him when he asked, and pulled a zippo lighter from her pocket. "Always." In a swift motion, she flicked it against her thigh to light it and held it out to him. Maybe her expression should have been softer, maybe she shouldn't have been so pleased by the request, but when it came to fire she simply couldn't help herself. It was fine, one cigarette wasn't going to blow her cover as one of the good guys. "You doing okay?"
Andrew was appreciative of the lighter, but the way that Lexi had pulled that out was a little concerning. But what wasn't in this town? "Thanks." He lit his cigarette, putting the lighter out before handing it back to her. "Just need some time not in the house. But yeah, doing perfect. What about you?"
Ever since the attack on the high school, Liam had been keeping to himself, not really sure how to speak to anyone after his sister had been murdered. Today was no different. He had only left the house for a quick, desperately needed grocery trip, when one of them stopped. Was he really daring to ask him for a light? Liam still didn't know who it was that had ended his sister's life, but part of him felt an urge to take it out on him.
But the other part of him was exhausted.
"Fine." With a click of his fingers, Liam's thumb caught fire, and he held his hand out to the werewolf.
Andrew didn't look up to see who he was talking to, too busy in his own head to even notice. He looked up once the hand was held out. He didn't know Liam well, but he did know about his sister. He should walk away, leave the guy alone after everything that had happened. But instead, he leaned over, letting him light his cigarette. He took a long drag.
"Thanks, man." He paused, blowing the smoke away from Liam. "Want one?"

Shane after "sorting some things out" is a good look on him
"And there's the rub." Dave didn't say it but he didn't have to. There was a building tension in town, even at the Manor, as everyone became more restless. This couldn't go on forever and Dave would bet it'd end bloody. "I'm touched. Oh, yeah? You sound like you were a real renegade. I think I've had every hobby you could at this point, but man do I miss live jazz. New York... New Orleans... Some smoky joint off the beaten path. What I wouldn't give to be there right now."
Andrew knew he had in a bad mood a lot lately. It wasn't how he normally acted, but he could sense the nerves in town, and it had been affecting him. "Don't know about renegade, just a street kid who needed to survive and liked some fun. " He nodded his head, not a life he had even an idea about. But it sounded nice enough. "Maybe when we get out of here, you can find it again."
Yes, it was something that Blair knew. Especially since the prom, seeing her old school be destroyed...It wore a girl down, no doubt about it. "Oh no, we aren't blaming cigarettes. Yeah, sure, they're toxic, but I don't think they cause negative thoughts."
Andrew was mostly joking. He didn't need the cigarette to have negative thoughts. "Yeah, definitely unfair to blame them for my brain, I guess." He smiled at Blair. "What are you doing out here? I know what I am trying to avoid."

She grinned back at Andrew. This was the chance to strike a deal. Connie could just feel it. And it'd been ages since she'd gotten to do some good old fashioned bartering.
"And by owe me one, you mean one general favor, right? Not just one tiny little lighter?"
"Why not? I trust you not to take advantage of it too much. I mean, not many favors I can do unless it involves stealing or getting someone to punch me."
Yeah, he did have a point, statistically speaking and all that, but now that Blair had the idea in her head, she wasn't about to let it go. "Well, that's a pretty grim way of looking at things, don't you think?"
"Just real, probably. Not trying to die, I just can't see this whole thing ending well for anyone in this town." Andrew had been thinking about it ever since the last conversation he had with Katie. "Sorry, I am being a bummer. Blame the cigarette."
