I see your point, however I disagree. Himbos are unintelligent, strong, and good-hearted.

Obi-Wan is not a himbo.

He's not unintelligent. He can fix a hyperdrive and read old alderaanian prophecies. He's a good person but he's not really nice. A lot of his humour is made up of acerbic sarcasm.

You're right though, he DOES prefer physical tasks, and would rather not be doing more academic things when defenestration is an option.

Therefore, Obi-Wan is a jock.

However there is a kind hearted unintelligent man we meet in Episode I that, as we learn in the Clone Wars, is seen as attractive. He demonstrates in a number of ways that despite being clumsy he is very strong. Despite being cowardly he always tries to do the right thing.

Honestly? I think Obi-Wan would have still left. He would have panicked at first (his sonbrotherstudentperson fainted in front of him) and would have taken Anakin to the healers, forgetting that he was supposed to leave on campaign. But Anakin didn't have anything seriously medically wrong with him. Sleep and food and time away from his pal Friendpatine would fix most of it- not that anyone knew about the last part.

So after Obi-Wan was reassured by competent healers that Anakin was fine and he just needed rest, he would have left to track Grievous down. He wouldn't have gone happily and he would worry about Anakin, but still. After Anakin's Fall, Obi-Wan tracked him down and tried to kill him. He tried to manipulate Luke into patricide.

Obi-Wan Kenobi is a man with a long history of choosing what he feels is his duty no matter what and he is quite a bit emotionally repressed or perhaps can divorce himself from the emotional parts of a situation. I don't think there was a way he wouldn't go after the healers told him that Anakin should be fine

Star Wars gets away with encouraging us to love a cruel villain such as Anakin/Vader because as far as they know, their audience doesn't share his lived experience. How many of us were sold into slavery, picked up by a religious cult, had all of our limbs hacked off by someone we thought of as a brother, and lived to tell the tale? Not to mention having everyone we've ever cared about ripped away from us by a galaxy-wide war. Star Wars challenges us to ask if we wouldn't turn out like that, too.

And I hate the argument that "some people suffer trauma and still choose good" in reference to Anakin/Vader because he tried. It wasn't like things didn't go his way or he had a traumatic experience and suddenly became evil. Anakin chose love repeatedly, fiercely, violently, over and over until he'd eventually had enough of it not working. And for him, the only thing that worked was violence.

Sometimes I think we forget how smart Anakin is. He tried love. Everything he did came from a place of misguided love. But when that continued to fail him, he sought another way. And not one of us can say with certainty we wouldn't do the exact same thing.

I wouldn’t even try after the first two attempts, dark side I go!

How many times do you think Anakin arrived a meeting, a call, or honestly anything important for his job swinging and stumbling and speaking weirdly, so everyone would just glare at him like "Showing up drunk is worse than not showing up at all", only for it to be that he's actually with a severe concussion; or dizzy from blood loss, or oxygen isn't reaching his brain or literally anything but drunk; in fact , Obi-Wan wishes he was drunk.
