My apologies for not writing anything- just finished a semester and then work be working me.
Reader w/a child x Ragatha (TADC)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Child outside of the circus
-Ragatha feels many different things.
-Was your kid okay?
-Did you treat your kid well?
-Did your kid miss you?
-Were you anything like her mother?
-Much like with the others, she does her best to comfort you
-A hand on the shoulder for a brief moment
-Maybe a pat on the back
-She believes you were a good guardian
-She sees the good in those around her
-Could be her downfall
-Could see Ragatha viewing you as a parental figure in this scenario
-Definitely warms up to you
"Wait-" they appear on the stage within the main tent, the vertigo quickly overwritten by parental concern for their child. "How do I — my kid!"
Ragatha was the only playable (?) entity around at the moment. She approached the stage with heed, steps muted due to her fabric body.
"You— how do I leave? My kid— they need me!" They shouted, stumbling off the stage, their feet docking the checkered floor as they started towards the rag doll, new feet scuffing the plastic-like texture.
Ragatha held open her arms, grabbing them, effectively stopping them in their tracks with her body. It was a surprise to both parties that the rag doll had such capabilities, but perhaps it was her adrenaline colliding with theirs; after all, her mother failed to show her that level of concern, often treating her more like a nuisance, an unwanted animal, or, as Ragatha eventually started to think of: a tax write-off.
"Hey, slow down there, trigger! You're in a strange place, and you aren't going to comprehend it right away, but it'll be o-"
They immediately interjected, pushing away with enough force to knock themselves onto the floor. "Okay? Okay?! It will not be okay! My child is somewhere, waiting for me to return with groceries! I need to get back to them!"
Ragatha put her hands up, covering her face out of instinct. The new entity sighed, nurturing quickly returning. They held out their hands, palms up and relaxed.
"I'm sorry I startled you, that was unfair of me to yell at you. I'm stressed, but that doesn't justify my actions."
Ragatha was confused, and for her situation growing up, rightly so. There was never an apology for having a bad day and dispelling it unto others. Seldom was there anything more than being yelled at, being told "I'll give you a reason to cry," and then having to act like everything was dandy.
"You — huh? Ah! You're just fine!" She wasn't sure if they meant their apology, but she chose to believe them.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Child also in the circus
-Ragatha is hesitant to approach
-You're in shock
-There is a smaller entity at your side
-They are clinging to you
-Ragatha does worry about whether or not your kid feels safe with you
-Decides to observe how you interact with your kid
-Once satisfied with what she sees, Ragatha will approach you and your child
-Becomes a parental figure to your child
It was scarce for the circus to get a new player, even more so to get two at once. One of the two entities that had joined was shorter than the other, but both parties clung to each other.
Ragatha was the first to notice, and also the first to immediately pick up on a patent-child bond, a positive-seeming one at that. She was happy for the one she perceived as the child, but in the recesses of her mind lie an anxiety for that child.
The other members quickly got acquainted with the new members, and Ragatha really wanted to as well, but somewhere deep in her brain, specifically her amygdala, kept her guarded.
"Look," the child bounded over to the rag doll, pointing and smiling, little hands quivering with excitement. "A dolly! She looks nice!"
Ragatha let out a perplexed huff, not used to such compliments; but despite her confusion, she smiled and thank the little one while keeping a digital eye out for the parental figure.
"There you are, chick-a-dee!" It was a cute nickname for the child, albeit a mouthful. Ragatha looked up from the child and to their guardian, smiling politely.
She offered her hand, palm open as she finally introduced herself to them. "Hello! I'm Ragatha! Your kid is quite polite!"
It was a snail's race to getting Ragatha properly acquainted with them and their kid, but one they didn't seem bothered with; quite the 180. They were extremely patient, and so was the kid. It took months, but Ragatha eventually herself acting as a mother to the child, aiming to be better than her own mother.
"Ragatha?" They were sitting on a beach towel in the sand, their child standing just a foot into the tide.
"Yeah? What is it?" She looked up from her sandcastle, smiling so genuinely.
"If I abstract... would you kind taking care of my kiddo? They love you.

Continuing off of my last post...
Zooble [I don't see anything for Zooble, gang...]
Reader w/out their child with them
- You have a child?
- Why didn't you bring them with you?
- Are they okay?
- Initially angry and confused at you
- Slowly realizes that you're actually hurting a lot over this
" Wait- where is my kid?!" You had arrived in a strange, colorful place. Your kid would love it here, but they aren't with you. You look around, completely alone, aside from what looked like an amalgamation of toy parts.
"Your what?" The character squinted, looking towards you. They were obviously judging you, watching you as you hopped off the stage to search for your child. They followed you, confused and disbelieving.
You spent the next few digital days, nights included, searching restlessly. There was no sign of your child, no way to contact them, and, as you learned, no escape. The toy-based amalgamation, whom you later learned was called Zooble, was judgy at first, but by the fifth digital night, they had grabbed your shoulder, pulling you back.
"Hey," you looked up at them, your brows furrowed with an anguish towards yourself. You had accidentally abandoned your child, and you regretted it with every fibre of your existence, actual and digital. "Take a moment and sit. You're running yourself into the ground."
Zooble had pulled you towards a sitting area, their hand on your shoulder as they moved to sit next to you. They played therapist, listening to you ramble about how horrid you felt.
"... it was a dumb decision... I guess hindsight is twenty-twenty." You looked away, eyes welling up with what you assumed were tears.
Zooble frowned with their brows, looking off into the distance. They spent a moment thinking, then finally spoke.
"Hindsight is only twenty-twenty if you knew what the correct decision obviously was. You didn’t know you would be trapped in here, didn’t know there would be no escape."
Reader w/their child
- Confused, maybe a bit uncomfortable
- Quickly stops cursing as much because you will always yell "little ears!"
- Slowly becomes a sort of designated family member
- This can be a parental figure or more of like the aunt/uncle dynamic
"You brought your kid?!" The jumble of pieces yells, startling your child. How dare they? Your kid has done nothing wrong.
Your and your child's relationship with Zooble starts off quite rocky. There's so much foul language spilling from their mouth, well, lack thereof.
You hissed when Zooble proclaimed the f-word, quickly covering your kid's non-existent ears with what was supposed to be your hands. "Hey! Little ears! No more profanities!"
As months, or what felt like it, passed, Zooble would offer to look after your kid, allowing you a moment to rest. They would take time to walk your child to the digital lake or theme park, making sure no harm came their way.
"Hey, Zooble?"
"Yeah?"
"If I abstract... would you take care of my kid?"

I'm a freak, hear me out
Reader joins TADC, but they have a child waiting for them back home OR their child arrived in the circus w/them. How does everyone react? I'll think this out after work tomorrow.
Guys
We could make our own Pokémon thing. I raise you my OC, Erin Maria Mena Orozco.
Top Champion in the Connico region. She's a Fairy/Steel type main. She's half Italian, half Cuban.
Still working on her character, this is just a design.
The worst part is that I know people love me. I just don't know why.
"I remember trying to get my medicine. You held it just out of reach. Now I'm in the floor, still cleaning up your mess."
"Maybe I should've fuckin' died on that operating table..."

Dawg... the fluckles?
Meow
Reaper lay in bed, her skin flushed with heat. Her fever had finally broken after a relentless battle through the night, the worst of it seemingly behind her. But the relief was fleeting. As she wiped the sweat from her forehead, a new wave of heat surged through her body, causing her to shiver despite the sweltering temperature.
“Reaper? You with me?”
Black Sapphire's voice, soft yet strained with concern, reached her ears. He had been sitting by her side for hours, keeping a watchful eye, and yet, nothing could prepare him for the horror he now saw: her temperature had spiked again, higher than before, and her eyes fluttered uneasily beneath her closed lids.
She didn’t answer him, and before he could even move to help, her body convulsed, her limbs jerking uncontrollably. Panic shot through him as he grabbed her arms to steady her, his hands shaking.
“Reaper! Stay with me, please!”
The seizures came in quick bursts, leaving Reaper gasping for air in between, her strength seemingly drained with each violent tremor. Black Sapphire pressed his forehead to hers, desperately trying to soothe her. But no words could calm the fear tightening his chest.
Her body stilled for a moment, and he hoped—prayed—that it was over. But as her breathing became erratic again, the dark weight of dread settled in. She wasn’t getting better. This was worse than before.
The air in the room felt thick, suffocating. Black Sapphire’s fingers brushed Reaper’s damp hair away from her forehead, his eyes scanning her face for any sign of recognition, but there was nothing. Just the occasional twitch of her eyelids and the shallow rise and fall of her chest. His mind raced, the worry gnawing at him like an insistent whisper he couldn’t shake.
Her fever was worse than before, her body burning with an intensity that made his heart thud painfully in his chest. His own breath came shallow and fast as he adjusted the cold compress on her forehead once again, but nothing helped. She still burned, and worse, she wasn’t responding.
Her body stiffened again, her arms trembling as the next round of seizures began.
Black Sapphire’s stomach dropped as she bucked in his arms, her head jerking back and her limbs jerking stiffly, as if the fever had taken full control of her. His heart raced as he pulled her closer, hoping to steady her, but there was no stopping the chaos inside her body.
“Reaper, please!” His voice cracked as he held her trembling shoulders, his fingers digging into her skin as if trying to hold her together, but the tremors ripped through her like waves, and he felt helpless. So helpless.
She gasped between the tremors, her breaths coming in rapid, panicked bursts. Black Sapphire’s mind was a whirlwind of possibilities: Should he call for help? Should he take her to the hospital? Could he get her out of this feverish state before it broke her completely?
"Stay with me," he whispered, his voice strained with the weight of his fear. "Just stay with me... Reaper, I need you to fight through this."
For a moment, there was nothing. Just the sound of her rapid breaths and his own ragged exhales. He kept his hands on her, grounding her to him in the chaos, trying to offer some semblance of comfort even though he was falling apart on the inside.
Then, just as suddenly as it started, her body stilled. Black Sapphire froze, every muscle tense, waiting—waiting for any sign of life from her. Her skin was slick with sweat, and her chest rose and fell in shallow, uneven breaths, but it was as if her body had forgotten how to breathe properly. Her lips parted, and for a heartbeat, he thought she might speak—say something to reassure him that she was still there, still in control.
But instead, her eyelids fluttered open for a fraction of a second before her whole body went limp, her head falling back onto the pillow.
"Reaper?" His voice was hoarse now, barely a whisper. His hands trembled as he gently cupped her face, his thumb brushing over her fevered skin. "Please, look at me."
For a moment, she didn’t respond, but then her eyes barely cracked open again. She blinked, her gaze unfocused and distant, as though struggling to make sense of the world around her.
"Reaper, hey... you’re scaring me," he said softly, trying to hide the tremor in his voice. But his desperation was evident. "Can you hear me?"
Her lips parted as if she were about to say something, but no words came. Instead, her brow furrowed in pain, her breathing turning even more erratic as if her body couldn’t decide whether to calm down or seize up again.
“Reaper…” He reached for the water on the nightstand, bringing it to her lips in an attempt to hydrate her, but she didn’t respond. She barely moved, her body slipping further into a state of exhaustion. His pulse thudded in his ears as he watched her, heart heavy with the uncertainty of it all. What was happening to her? Why wasn’t she getting better?

Might post some self-indulgent writing. I'm sorry, it ships OC x CC... (Reaper x Black Sapphire)
She smiled faintly. “You make a terrible liability.”
“You make a perfect accomplice.”
