I would very much like to live in the former Decepticon capital of Kaon, however, since hundreds of millennia have left our planet but a dried husk of metal unable to support Cybertronian life, not to mention, the misplaced heroics of Optimus Prime in destroying the Omega Lock preventing it's revival, I must force myself to live among the human vermin on the planet that you call Earth.

I must say, I am quite pleased with my new citadel. And while it's former name, Kew Kaon, was sufficient, I find Darkmount is a much more befitting name to describe it's glory while adding an ominous tone.

But it's truly earns it name from the fusion cannon's atop it's peak and it's recent display of power against the pathetic blitz of the human military...well, let's just say my spark nearly overloaded with delectation.

I still find myself disappointed, however, with the lack of autobot corpses to be found in the wreckage of their base. While I am not surprised by the likelihood that they fled through their ground-bridge, the shear fact that they all seems to have fled to safety greatly disturbs me. But safety in their...situation..is quite relative. We know they are scattered and they do not have the Iacon relics to aid them. And with Shockwave seemingly risen from the grave back among our ranks, it won't be long before the Autobots fall.

*maniacal laughter*

You amuse me for a human. Take my statement however it pleases you. I have proven myself a thousand fold over and over both in the pits of Kaon and countless millennia of war. One does not survives these trials simply by effort, but by skill, cunning, and will power.

And there is none with a stronger will than mine own save for Optimus Prime who despite his soft disposition has proven a worthy adversary.

Does it truly surprise you, Starscream, that after all your failed attempts to snuff my spark that I still function? Your foolish attempts at treachery are beneath my attention. Perhaps one day, you will learn this lesson on your own. If not, I will have to upload it directly into your hard drive.

Hmm....I am flattered so many of you fleshlings have seen fit to join the ranks of my Decepticon...blog *shutter*. A wise choice to be sure to follow closely the footsteps of your Lord for you have a front row seat to my upcoming victory as I take rule of your planet.

I see that despite your organic optics, you still have a fine eye for the sublime.

The story of my fusion cannon is a glorious tale to be sure. It was one of my finest moments in the pits of Kaon as a gladiator. My opponent was an experienced, though egotistical, bot known as Cykill. Despite his flaws, he had a maniacal side of which I admired.

But as the case is with anyone you admire in the arena, they eventually become your opponent, and my day to face this titan finally came. He was formidable to be sure, but in the end, he was sloppy, relying on his brutish  strength and using his weapons far too little.

This allowed me to get in close for a quick kill. And when my opponent had fallen, I had my choice of the spoils he left behind. The fusion cannon you see today was just one of those spoils, though it has been modified to be more efficient and aesthetically pleasing since then.

I hope my tale pleases you, blusterjay. Your question has amused me so you may live to spread it’s tale. But do not expect my favor to last for long.

Greetings Earth Vermin. I am Lord Megatron, the soon to be ruler of your world. I have proven my worth to be supreme ruler by testing my metal in the gladiator pits of Kaon and to my current charge as leader of the Decepticons.

I have created this...blog...as you call it to freely speak among your people. But do not mistake this a gesture of openness. Quite the opposite. I do it only because I do not fear to operate in the shadows any longer. I do fear retaliation from your kind. You are but vermin and I will address you as such. I only allow you to live because your fear amuses me. Once it grows tiresome, you will face my army.

Until then, you are free to address your Lord. But I warn you, Do not try my patience. I have little tolerance for feeble mindedness.
