for your consideration- art of survival smp! started as a life series for fans thing but evolved with a lot of lore/roleplay aspects!! theres a number of fun creators there (the main youtube ones are lopsidedhead, geck at games, and crikeymikey123, and some of them stream). many of them are active on tumblr and there is also an official tumblr for the server @/aos-smp !! (there was also a sibling server caduceus smp with lots of fun lore)
Thank you so much for the reccomendation! Now this is a real niche one! Since you reccomended the whole SMP overall and not an individual creator, and I& checked and there's a lot of them playing, many of whom don't stream or make videos, I& will be reblogging propaganda that I& can find! Looks like they're on Season 4 so far :D This server is REALLY small and if any of the creators want to promote themselves individually, say hi! It does feature full on roleplay with acting, and has a lot of charm to it!

Thanks so much for the recommendation :D I make Youtube videos of AOS (and occasionally stream other things like the Minecraft tournament Pandora's Box), and if there's one thing about me it's that I put the "death" into "death game" <3 (both in killing and in dying in weird and wonderful ways!) I also love being incredibly homoerotic in-roleplay :P I've been playing since season 2, but didn't make videos of season 2 and due to personal reasons didn't make more than one episode of season 4, but season 3 is my favourite season so far and that has episodes of every session :] And I'll be making videos from season 5! <33

got too into the painting process so huzzah

rough painting of a shot for a silly ides animatic i wanna do. i really liked the way the sketch came out, so i self indulgently blocked out colors. for once in my life ever i am super happy with the way the hair looks. a single win for me
lesson learned tho that if theres even a chance i might use airbrushes to blend a background, i should absolutely put the background on a second layer
for clarification purposes, did only the people saved by mikey make it out of the death game
Definitive no - not everyone has solid lore about where their character went after S3, but there are people not saved by Mikey who got out

scribbled a little height reference before sketching some scenes and i cant stop laughing at how MINUSCULE edan is
also complete accidentally spelled sike because i added screeb at last second as reference for a normal sized person
Thinking so hard about these heights . The boogey kill on King was just going straight for the top of the head. Edan and King could both aim for Ides' ankles and that's how I lost that fight. Incredible /gen

honestly despite me STRUGGLING to get this drawing right and the fact that i didnt really have any vision for ides before, i really enjoy drawing them
did realize way too far into it that the clothes on the skin probably wasn’t armor, so i made myself suffer through drawing armor way too many times for nothing 😔 on the bright side, that means i dont have to draw armor next time hfhdjdh
