Misconception

Dear Chunky Emily,

I know you’ve been eating a lot lately and putting on the pounds. But stop it right now. Food tastes good for 3 minutes, skinny FEELS good forever. Imagine; being the same size as all your friends, imagine, having all the boys look at you. Imagine all the new clothes you would get from mom and dad if you where much to skinny for your old ones. Imagine the confidence, your senior year. The feeling of walking into that first day of school, and everyone’s jaws dropping. Imagine your skinny little wrists, with a hair band on one and holding your phone and noticing how skinny your fingers have gotten. Imagine being able to have anyone pick you up. Imagine being around the same size as that anorexic girl. Imagine having those boys who called you ugly, or said you wherent their type… Chasing you. Imagine everyone thinking you where beautiful and well dressed. Imagine. Chunky Emily this could all be yours…. But you have to put down the food and exercise. You have to work. And work fast. Start working now. And when you get back after those 7 weeks… And post that first Instagram photo… Is a “Holy shit” moment. Imagine everyone texting about it… Texting you. Imagine his face… Imagine all their faces. Imagine your face. Work Chunky Emily… Work. Starting tomorrow. You work. You do not stop working until you get what you deserve.
