Listened to some of my Foster the People albums for the first time in years and may I just say: the vibes passed the test.

I always liked browsing for the aesthetics even once I stopped over sharing about my mental state and relationships on here. But the constant ads really disrupted the ability to enjoy the art posting. Horrible mistake in tumblr’s behalf.

Watching my baby experience life is so amazing. Today we had a picnic at the park and he got to see a squirrel up close for the first time. Simple, ordinary things take on new meaning when you get to see a child experiencing them for the first time.

It’s so strange to look back and see this tumblr…it’s like a time capsule of who I used to be. I’ve barely posted in the past five or so years and I somewhat regret that because it breaks the continuity of what I had recorded here. It can be scary and sad to look back on my past as it’s recorded here. I was so hard on myself for so long. I still am, at times. But it’s not nearly so destructive. I grew up. I found my way to God. I joined the Orthodox Church. I got married to my best friend and became a mother. I’m not the same person I was before, but I still get reblogs on self deprecating musings I wrote at 15. What an absolutely bizarre place on the internet.
