'Love the life you live, live the life you love.'

When I start thinking about what I have done wrong, one hundreds things cross my mind. I am not sure if I could have kept away those things choosing the right way, which now is easy to find, but anyway those mistakes, that I have just mentioned, have made me become the person who I am now, with my positive and negative stuff, and I have no other choice than accept it, accept myself just the way it is, if I do not want to be broken into pieces forever. I have always tried as hard as I can to keep this reflection in mind, to stop putting myself obstacles, to stop making me drawn in my own thoughts… but it is simply impossible and I do not know how long I will be able to keep trying before neither nothing nor no one could fix it.

Anyway, I feel proud of having been able to keep on trying, because at the end of the day it is absolutely worth it. I have certainly made a lot of progress since then, I don't know if anything was fixed or even if there was anything broken, but the major point is that I have learnt to deal with my emotions, to accept that nothing is perfect so it is pointless to focus on the flaws of the day, instead of trying to see the silver lightnings.

I'll be lying if I said It was easy to reach this point, or that I don't have days when it's is utterly impossible to follow that premise, and everything falls down.

The thing is that I can say that I feel better, I could even admit that I feel fairly good. Finally, I see life with other eyes and that have brought me only joy.

So dear past, thank you, thank you for all the effort, the lessons, the strength... you made it!

Of course there's much more to do and everything could be far better, but that's the key, to embrace what we have in the present and let everything else comes when it has to.
