Traumatic events can affect children’s moods and their ability to regulate their emotions. Kids who have been traumatized often get upset easily and have trouble calming down.

You deserve someone who actually gives a shit about you. Someone who doesn’t just see you as an extension of themself. Someone who would actually be afraid to lose you. Don’t let anyone else make you believe otherwise.

shoutout to all the kids having panic attacks in bathrooms because of oral presentations. shoutout to all the kids who struggle to eat in public. shoutout to all the kids who can’t get out of bed in the morning to go to school. shoutout to every single person who is struggling with a mental disorder and doing their best to live a normal life. you’re going to get through this.
