today one of the student workers at my job told me that if she’s struggling to remember something important in her course work she’ll wait until her professor asks a question related to that topic during a lecture and then she’ll purposefully raise her hand and answer it wrong because, and I quote, ‘the combined shame and embarrassment of getting an answer wrong in front of more than a hundred of your peers will make sure that you’ll never forget what the right answer actually was’ and if that is not the most next level balls to the wall bonkers extrovert thing I’ve ever heard then I don’t know what is

I loved that last scene between Yijin and Heedo for many reasons but most of all because it’s the first time he’s seen her in her element. The other times they’ve crossed paths she’s running around frantically, doesn’t know the code for the door to the math academy where she uses the bathroom, or she’s ugly crying in the street and running away from him. So he’s really only seen her when she’s not put together. But in the gym he has all kinds of questions for her because she’s the one with the fencing knowledge, she knows how to fasten up the uniform and exactly how much the saber weighs. He has made many jokes about her not being booksmart and making spelling mistakes and she did get her revenge for that but it was nice to see him admiring her for what she’s best at.
