“You never know, stairs are pretty tricky buggers. Especially these. But, nice save, Frank. Really. I completely believed it.” Alice grinned and held out a dropped letter. “So what’s the rush?”

“Oh I just woke up from a nap and thought I was going to be late. So I started running.” He looked a down as he talked. “Then I realized half way there that I didn’t have that class today. That’s when I hit the floor.”

Alice tried, Merlin knows she tried. But a laugh escaped her nonetheless. “I believe it,” she said through giggles. “You popped right back up, didn’t you?”

“Of course, I’m not going to be taken out by a flight of stairs.” Frank let out a small chuckle. “Now escalators on the other hand, those things can kill a man.”

“Hey, I’d be a great husband. Sure my last name isn’t the best but that doesn’t mean I’m not worth marrying. I happen to be a super cheesy romantic guy as well.”

“Ridiculous is my middle name. No seriously it is. My mom is horrible when it comes to coming up with middle names.”

Frank smiled, taking his notes back. “No problem.” He put his notes back in his bag. “I always have notes. If you ever need any just ask.”

“I was reminding you that you still have my history of magic notes.” Frank looked at the other. “If you need them longer just let me know.”

“Absolutely not dead, good job!” Sybill laughed. “All necessary body parts intact?”

“I know, I’m so good at not dying.” Frank chuckled a bit. “I think so.”

“Are you alright, Frank?” She asked, unable to control her laughter.

“Not dead so I’m alright.”
