Seth Bishop

So i decided to make a tumblr so i can make an open letter, i feel like this is so stupid but i feel like i should tell yall some stuff you never knew about me, i doubt you’ll read the whole thing but if you do know it means the world.

So i was born in Phoenix Arizona, my parents ALWAYS were fighting growing up, we also lived in the middle of the desert so there was really no escape from it. During this time i was going to a Christian School called NCS, ever since i can remember i always felt like i was an outcast at school, i never fit in, so i went to a public school, and guess what, I STILL FELT OUT OF PLACE LOL I SUCK. Seriously though school was hell for me, it wasn’t even like people were mean to me, i just hated the whole concept of sitting around a bunch of ignorant, judging, close minded people.

But then, i found something i loved, music, not just singing but everything, i was so inspired by artists and bands growing up and i become OBSESSED with wanting to have that same impact on people through music, and my mom told me on my first day going to highschool “maybe if you bring your guitar to school and play it you’ll make friends”…… SHE. WAS. SO. WRONG! If you’re in school you can probably agree teenagers have some weird thing that if someone they are in contact with everyone is trying to live their dreams, YOU MUST HATE THEM THEY ARE EVIL or something i don’t know but i got teased and shit all the time just for wanting to be a musician. I would go on omegle every single night for about a year and just sing to people (during this time i saw WAY TO MANY PENISES EWWWWWWWW) but then one day, i stumbled across a site called younow, and i started broadcasting…..for like 2 people. But then one day randomly those two people grew to hundreds and i started gaining a FOLLOWING for my music, YAY MAYBE THE KIDS AT SCHOOL WILL BE PROUD OF ME FOR FOLLOWING MY DREAM AND SOMEWHAT STARTING TO MAKE IT!!!!

I. WAS. SO. FUCKING. WRONG.

I thought the highschool judgement was bad before but it seemed to grow worse as my following grew bigger, but you know what is weird? My haters were never the stereotypical “douche bag jock bullies you see in eighties movies” MY BIGGEST HATERS WERE THE FUCKING DRAMA AND CHOIR DEPARTMENT!!!! The very people i thought would be proud of me. I was the only one among them actually making a name for myself in the industry and i guess i expected somehow they would find inspiration, “Wow! He proved to us that if you work hard and use the internet, you can actually make a name for yourself in the entertainment industry” but they never were happy with me…. I look back now and realize it was just jealously, and if we went to highschool and you’re reading this: 1: YOU DO NOT FUCKING KNOW ME, WE NEVER HUNG OUT, JUST BECAUSE YOU KNOW MY NAME DOES NOT MEAN YOU KNOW MY STORY! and 2: If you worked on your career as much as you talk shit about mine, then you’d probably be bigger than me by now! :)

So my sophomore year, at age 17, i dropped out of highschool ( i have literally one more test to take before i get my GED so chill). I decided to stop trying to follow the path society has set for me and every other teenager living in America and i decided to focus on living my dream, and doing what makes me happy. I still get hate for it, damn i can’t go on twitter one day without some little 12 year old fangirl saying I’m an “azswhole” for simply just being real, speaking my mind, and not conforming to the fuckboy “lie to make little girls fall in love with” mentality it seems like many of my fellow social media friends have fallen into. But at the end of the day, my life gets stressful, but i am so happy with my life and i can’t wait to see what God has planned for my future! :)

This is just a little bit about me, if you want me to make a full one just tweet me that i should! But overall i just hope this let you know the real me a little better, thank you for following me so far on this epic journey to my dreams and no as long as i have you by my side, i will never give up!
