did you know the cops once found a fully functioning movie theater with a well-stocked bar inside the catacombs and they when they tried to go back later to formally investigate it was completely emptied out save for a note that read "don't search for us"
my little bro is part of the catacombs community and yeah, it's basically a fully autonomous society! enough that when my bro goes in on a friday night, they don't come out until monday for work- sometimes longer if they took days off.
some of the rooms have fully stocked pantries with cooking equipment, some have movies like the one described above, some have books you're allowed to just take but people always put back- every day people bring things from the outside. artists often set up galleries there. there are rooms with mattresses and hammocks set up for people to sleep. one of the room is just a place where people leave shoes for the fun of it.
this is Known, it's not a secret by any means. the catacombs are as big as paris itself, and people live there just as people live above. it's wonderful when you think about it.

Ok so this story follows two vessels, the greenpath vessel and broken vessel, they get out at the exact same time, the greenpath one had a voice to cry and a mind to think while the broken one only had the latter, also here they are.
Imma put the rest under there
Ok, so this is not Greenpath. Not at all. The two siblings didn't find it entertaining to save the kingdom alongside their sibling the Hollow Knight, they knew of their existence and the Pale King's, but they found little to no love for them ,leaving them locked away is cruel,tho maybe it is their nature as they did the same to the rest of their siblings.
They quickly reached the howling cliff's, seeing the civilisation end there made them wish to go even further ! For days or maybe much more, it was nothing but wind and the bodies of bugs who dared traverse those empty lands, there was no food, nor water, nor resting place, but vessels were made much more resistant to the lack of those things.
And long after, they reached a new kingdom,
Ok quick stop, I'm debating naming it ever bloom but it's the name of the silksong fragile flower so meh. Ok I'm done.
It was filled with greenery unlike any theyd seen ,flowers tall enough to reach the skies, roots as tall as mountains, and as the moss replaced the cold stone on the ground, an extremly old cut piece of wood was tied to the stem if one if the flowers,on it was written "travellers coming from far away,welcome. This kingdom once grand has fallen. May you be safe under the watchful gaze of t-" the rest had fallen off or teared away and right beneath it a newer tablet was gently resting upon the stem: "adventurers and lost ones alike, here we live for the very first time, here we build our own life."
THATS IT I HAVE MORE BUT IM TOO CRINGE UHHHHHH YOU TELL ME.

Funfact times
I tried to follow the thing team cherry did with the kingdoms, Hallownest being a dead kingdom, pharloom being a dying kingdom , and this one a blooming kingdom.
Another fun fact this takes place when the hollow knight is still in training, and while pharloom is in its prime,and you can see it cuz pharloom did try to conquer the lands the two are in. I put their pins on the drawin.
