Lola's Tea Party

I was home at my mum’s for the Easter weekend, and decided to log onto Tumblr to distract myself from the despair of my life. It’s been ten whole years since I first set up my Tumblr and poured my 20 year old heart out on it. I look back at the posts from 2011-2014 and all I can remember is how happy and carefree I was. I miss those days.

Now, I am 30 years old. And I feel very lost. I have had some small successes over the last few years - I finally moved out into a shared flat in Streatham, and I passed my driving test although I still can’t afford a car. But I am trying to figure out what I want from my life, or to narrow it down, the next ten years. 

So I’ve decided, to come back. There’s something so cathartic about pouring your heart out online, and this feels like a safe place to do so, as no one really knows about my Tumblr. Those who did/do follow me that I know personally, don’t seem to use it anymore. I myself have been absent from Tumblr for long time. Until now.
