I spent my morning shopping at Lincoln's biggest craft fair and found this adorable airplant in a hippo. 💕Now I've got Cozy Memories Blanket squares on repeat all day with football on in the background. Making some more progress tonight on my Quick Ombré Hat for the #NovemberKAL in the Beginners Knit-Along Ravelry group. I am loving these two colors together! Once finished, this hat will get donated to @knotsoflove along with many others my friends and I are working on. 😊 Guardians of the Galaxy is on in the background and o couldn't be happier. Groot is life! ❤️

My first attempt at dyeing yarn didn't turn out too terribly. I may need another photo when the lighting is better. The sun is setting too quickly these days! • Left was hand-painted directly on the yarn and is very bright and vivid! It's a fun one! • Right was done with an immersion bath and has the prettiest faces of pink to purples to blues. Much more subtle. Newest FO: A modified Vermonter hat using worsted tweed. Took me much too long because I kept casting on new projects. I do love it though. So nice and slouchy. I haven't decided whether I'll keep it or gift it. 😊 Now that my needles are free, I've started a November #KAL in the Beginning Knitters Ravelry group. Guys! I made a thing! I've started marathoning podcasts like crazy (late to the bandwagon!) and I LOVE how everyone keeps their projects in separate bags.
