Loaded March PDF

Finally! Apologies for being so late, life was not dealing me a good hand, but all 16 parts of Loaded March have now been compiled into 1 gigantic format. I once asked if I should break them into smaller parts, but tumblr user @wyntersoldat advised “mate no. make it into one huge pdf just for the satisfaction of it :D”

You were right. Now that it’s all done, this feels amazing. With over 1.28 million words and 3000 pages on my Microsoft Word doc, you can bet this compilation has been a labour of love! I can’t believe I’ve been doing this since October 2012. Man, the amount of time and formatting I’ve done on this, it’s been tiring at times, but still I’m really glad to have been able to share it with all of you! And guess what, since it’s all over now, I decided to try my hand at converting it into epub too. Took a bit of tweaking, but hopefully this one works :) Much better than my previous attempt anyway. So yes, there are both PDF and EPUB compilations available now!

FYI: Some major difference between The Final Compilation and previous versions (besides the obvious addition of Parts 15 and 16) is an addition Intro page and consistent section breaks. I couldn't make sense of why Footloose was having different sections breaks, but if you’ve got some insight, do share with me! And I’ll.... go back and change them all I guess....

Anyway, I’ve had a really great time and I’m looking forward to what other beautiful gems Footloose will be creating :) And well, if they write anymore Big Fic, I’ll see if I can help again :)

What a story it is!

Hi again! :) if you are using a Windows computer and you think that Word doc you’re looking for might still be on it, I would recommend the program Everything (from voidtools (dot) com)! It can search the names of every single file on your computer very very quickly, so you could type .doc to see every single Microsoft Word doc on your computer and filter down from there if you wanted. It won’t help if you know it’s only in the cloud somewhere and not on your computer tho.

HELLO HELLO. I am realising that I no longer quite know how to use tumblr... the change in the way replies work, namely, and how you cannot reply with sideblogs is strange to me, so I am manually doing it how we used to do it years ago haha (sort of? at least close enough?), back when we had extensions and everything (do people still use extensions now?)

Anyhow. I'm glad my uploads are still intact and that mediafire is still a functional site (you really never know these days). I hope I might be able to find the original and alarmingly big word document again some day... It's probably in some drive I hope...

I'm not sure if anyone still checks these tags or still follows this blog. If you see this then I think it's lovely that this has reached you again after so many years and I hope you are doing well!

P.S. As of today, the PDF has 1125 downloads while the EPUB has close to 800. Apparently in March 2018 they were at 332 and 225 respectively. It blows my mind that so many people checked them out. Thank you for the lovely support and I hope the compilations have been of service to you! ETA: Since I haven't been here a long while, I also decided to go and look at tags on the reblogs of the compilation post that I've missed... You are all so very lovely, thank you for the kind words :')

I made this after looking around for a copy and not finding it. Basically I downloaded epubs from AO3 and then fixed the formatting in Calibre, and merged them all together into an omnibus. I’ll update it (and offer a new link) when the next installment comes out.

I have not, unfortunately! I did try it the other day but the formatting wasn’t to my liking and so I was going to mess around with the settings and all when I have the time. Which, sadly, I don’t have now.
