to be like water, moving and growing, carving. powerful but soft. lingering in pools, carving canyons, rippling and shining in the sun. ancient and ephemeral 〰️ who do I want to be, who have I been, who am I now. not about doing, or having, but being. still a dreamer, but harnessing my dreams. ________ some notes on turning thirty. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ in the last few weeks I’ve driven solo across the country, camped in woods and cabins and seen the most surreal heavens and earth. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ reflecting on the last decade... I don’t always love who I have been. anxious, depressed, ADD, lonely, unreliable. I’ve learned I have an autoimmune disease that’s really knocked me out for a few years. I’m grateful for so many quiet, patient advocates who’ve walked with me. I still can be these things, but I’m learning how to be at peace, ebbing and flowing as I do, and so grateful for the current flow. _________⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ if you’re this far... thank you.
