I sometimes see people tag their reblogs of strongly worded posts with “I don’t understand this but I’ll reblog it because it seems important,” and guys, that is exactly the worst thing to do

Just because somebody sounds righteously outraged does not mean their opinions are good, and if you signal boost everybody who sounds that way, you become incredibly easy to manipulate.

actual jewish person speaking: steal their fucking memes. make them so absurd, ineffectual, and overused that nazis don’t get to use them anymore. they historically co-opt otherwise harmless imagery (swastikas, pepe, vaporwave aesthetic) to push their horrible agendas to the point that they’re unusable, so the onus is on the rest of us to steal the very few things they actually create themselves. it’s not spreading their message, it’s making them look ridiculous.
