imogen: smiled softly as he spoke, however, a part of her not entirely there as she listened. "do you remember back when you asked me why.. i do what i do?" she mused aloud, smiling ever so gently as she admired the view in front of them. suddenly realizing she'd never given him a straightforward answer before, anyone could just assume she was just some bored kid looking for something excitable, thrilling left of this life. "i know i hardly ever talk about why i'm staying with natalie, talking's just never really been my thing," imogen wrinkled her nose, chuckling quietly. "i don't just take what i want because i don't have anything better to do. i felt like i had to because my dad can't take care of himself anymore, he's sick. and some people pay me really well to do what i do," she revealed at once, sighing almost sadly as she looked at her boyfriend. "i don't know why i'm telling you this, i guess i just don't want any surprises. i'm sure he'll love you though. if i do, then he'll too," imogen offered, smiling more genuinely at his implication, her hand brushing the side of his face gently as he spoke. "i think that's a good idea, we can look into it some more," she beamed. "i know, it's so crazy. like, who knows where we'll be months from now," imogen pondered, "but i'm glad to be right here with you, right now. i'll always enjoy these little moments--"
danny: "well honestly, i was just hoping you didn't rob me..you are a scary chick when you wanna be. you /know/ that right?" danny said with a laugh, at this point feeling somewhat used to how she acted. a little brash and abrasive, but that's what he loved about her, how spunky and unapologetic she was at times, but pulling through when it really mattered. he listened to her tell her truth, eyes softening as he starts to piece together why she's staying with her mom, and why her dad is something she only talks about, never quite seeing with his own eyes just yet. "babe.." he said simply, wrapping an arm around her waist. "i can't wait to meet him..and i know you're gonna say you've got it, but if you need any help, me and my family can help if you want. you're my family now too." he assured her, kissing her cheek. though he wasn't sure exactly what he could do, he wanted to be there for her as best he could. getting a better view of the city, he scooted back, laying back again the glass as he sat on the hood of his car wit her. "i have to go for a week to new york in july before i move in September, get some school stuff settled. come with me."
