so me and @orangesideirrational were talking about what we think the archons (who’ve yet to have human designs) could potentially look like as humans^^

Phycoperidalict: I imagine him as like an amalgamation of every human presenting tumblr sexyman, think human Bill Cypher designs, the Onceler, to continue the hazbin references in his character, Vincent Whitman ect

Kaijugrex: Narati’s type apparently

Sciferamov: she’s already very humanoid but I think it would be cool to give her dreadlocks to mimic the shape of her wires

Fantorelle: Astras type apparently

Suvasterith: I think she’d wear one of those face masks with the cartoon bear face on it, also an ungodly amount of comic book merchandise, she looks like she just purchased everything in an artists ally at comic con

I like her new outfit and hair

But I really don't like the fact that popCross decided to change her rings and scythe

Like I know it's because he wanted to physically show her emotional development and connection to her religion (since the giant cross behind her wasn't enough ig) but

it feels weird to have her storyline be about accepting herself as the reaper while also getting rid of everything that made her recognizable as the reaper

I like the idea of making the rings into a halo but I don't get the decision to take two of the rings away both in a design way (since the 3 rings are probably the most iconic part of any reaper design) and because of the lore, sense all of the rings have separate purposes and from what I remember doesn't she fly by having *two* rings move down to her hands?

It also doesn't really make sense to have a variant of the grim reaper not have a scythe, maybe it's just me but the vibe and almost gentiles of slashing of a scythe fits much more with the vibe and reason of the reaper killing someone, instead of just like... stabbing them... And the story put a pretty big emphasis on Alexis working up to be able to get a scythe that just having a sword feels like a down grade

What I would do is have Alexis keep the scythe and 3 rings but make them both gold and maybe replace the ruins on the rings with eye symbols to give her more of a biblically accurate angel vibe, and give the scythe more fire elements
