Keep in mind, austria was right after canada, where g and m shared a podium together with their son and were civil or even friendly with each other - it was definitely the highest point of their relationship this year.

g and m were lined up next to each other during national anthem. g even brought his own umbrella with him, probably assuming the papayas would share one. But then... m ignored him for their son. So in return, g folded his umbrella and decided to get under 81's.
