I really like Jules as a character: she feels so free, and I love her style, her outfits and her makeup.
But at the same timeโฆ I donโt think sheโs a good friend.
The way she left Rue when she needed her the most, and then later told her mom everythingโฆ it just didnโt sit right with me.
So I kind of have mixed feelings about her ๐ฅน
Still, I really enjoyed drawing her.

I wanted something between moonlight, blood-red clouds and a slightly feral vibe.
Not sure if sheโs a vampire, a werewolfโฆ or just a late-night thought.

After watching the final season, I didnโt feel ready to let this story go yet. So I went back to drawing.
Hollyโs growth really stayed with me, she started as a quiet presence in the background and ended up being unexpectedly brave, right when it mattered the most.
This portrait feels like a small way to hold onto that ending a little longer, but also as a way to connect emotionally with the characters that stayed with me for years.
Some stories don't end when the screen goes black!

Tried something new with blues and violets today and honestly, I loved playing with the lights and tiny details.
Zoom-ins and timelapse didnโt do great on IG (algos being algos), but I still really like how this piece turned out, so Iโm sharing it here too.
