I really like Jules as a character: she feels so free, and I love her style, her outfits and her makeup.
But at the same time… I don’t think she’s a good friend.
The way she left Rue when she needed her the most, and then later told her mom everything… it just didn’t sit right with me.
So I kind of have mixed feelings about her 🥹
Still, I really enjoyed drawing her.

After watching the final season, I didn’t feel ready to let this story go yet. So I went back to drawing.
Holly’s growth really stayed with me, she started as a quiet presence in the background and ended up being unexpectedly brave, right when it mattered the most.
This portrait feels like a small way to hold onto that ending a little longer, but also as a way to connect emotionally with the characters that stayed with me for years.

Tried something new with blues and violets today and honestly, I loved playing with the lights and tiny details.
Zoom-ins and timelapse didn’t do great on IG (algos being algos), but I still really like how this piece turned out, so I’m sharing it here too.
