Bar Marsella is the oldest bar in Barcelona and has been slinging absinthe for centuries. Some it's most notable patrons were Heminway, Dali, Picasso and Gaudi. I was so excited to order an absinthe and sit in the same space that so many great artists had sat before me.

Traveled to Spain for the first time this Spring, fell in love with it. Also, hi Tumblr, is anyone still on here? This is still my favorite platform for sharing images.

I helped assist my friend who was shooting for the newly renovated and remodeled Madrona hotel. We went in April and spring had just arrived in California, everything smelled of orange blossom and the weather was perfectly sunny and warm, it was a wonderful break from the garbage smells of Brooklyn. I highly recommend this bougie hotel if you love being haunted becasue this place is haunted AF. Well, I think my friend and I may have helped the ghosts relax a little, we did some weird stuff to say the least. At one point I found myself talking outloud, explaining to ghost what guasha stone is. Yep, weird stuff, like I said. 

It’s been a minute, and by a minute I mean two years. I want to talk about this platform and the need for a social platform for photographers because there isn’t a good one right now. Instagram is over for photographers, I feel like it’s all we have even though ‘reels’ is their only focus. Tumblr is great, I want it to have a comeback but so many people have left this platform, including myself. But I went back and read my old posts, this was a place for me to tell stories and share in way that I find hard on instagram or my phone. There isn’t a place for every photo and story on a website, and let's be honest, people don’t read on instagram. Personally, I still need a place to talk about my work and photos, a diary almost, so I’m coming back, long live Tumblr.

Martha’s Vineyard, 2017

My friends Nina and Todd got married at Akwissasne and now they rent out the cabin every summer as place for us all to come back to, its our own personal oasis. I say personal because its a private lake, and there is no cell service, so we just live off the grid for a week, its glorious. It takes me about 1 hour to stop checking my phone then i realize its just us and we have to do is be present. My favorite is the list of topics we argue about but can’t google until we get back to the real world. This year I stayed for 2 nights and had to leave, then I missed it so much I convinced 2 other friends to go back for the last part of the week, it was glorious. It’s a magical place.
