WASHINGTON – Newly released video of Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s private meeting with Black Lives Matter activists in New Hampshire last week shows a testy exchange between Clinton and the activists.

Watch the second clip where Clinton suggests that the activists need to have strong policy goals if they want to create real change, using the women’s and gay rights movements as a comparison.

Ok.. So I saw this clip on the news earlier and I feel like I saw a completely different thing than you all. She IS focused on policy. She said that, and then she said that the Black Lives Matter movement need to be policy focused as well– because changing hearts only works for so long unless there are also structural changes to reinforce it.

I think Hillary has trouble communicating. People always seem to misinterpret what she says, and she misinterpreted what the activists were saying to her as well. Idk what it is about her, but she has an issue with communication. I don’t think she’s stupid, and I don’t think people are taking away from this what she intended them too. In this clip, both sides had to restate and rephrase what they were saying/asking several times because they weren’t understanding each other.

That said, I think a president who can’t communicate would be terrible, and as much as I want her to break that glass ceiling… I’m really not sure I want her running the country…
