Gentle reminder that the human eye is naturally drawn by noise and movement, so the next time you walk into a crowd or a bit late into a lecture or something like that, they’re not staring at you or judging; it’s just an instinctive reaction that has nothing to do with you doing anything wrong.

This really helps my anxiety.

All these positive posts on like “start your 2018 off right!” are nice and all but,, it’s also okay if ur 2018 doesn’t start off great. It’s okay if you’re sick in bed and grieving and haven’t showered in a week. You’ve got a whole year ahead of you to improve yourself and your life like,, it’s not a race. You’re allowed to take your time with healing and moving forward. I haven’t slept well in days so this might be unintelligible but hdbbwnaj I thought someone should make this post even if no one will see it. Good luck with ya new year people

Also don’t believe people who say things like “what you’re doing on new year is what you’ll be doing all year” or “the first day of the year sets the tone for every day after”. Having a bad day today doesn’t mean your whole year is going to suck. Doing just regular, every-day stuff today doesn’t mean you’re going to have a boring year. Every day is a new day, no matter what happens on January 1st that doesn’t set in stone how the rest of 2018 is going to be for you.
