Would you like to watch Revolutionary Girl Utena, but you have a photic sensitivity issue and it has fl@$h!ng lights? (Sorry, I don't want this to get caught up in anybody's filter.)

Well, I have edited out all of the fl@$h!ng lights so that more people can enjoy this beautiful piece of animation and LGBT history. When such lights appeared, I replaced them with a still image, and the subtitles will play over them so that you'll still understand what's going on:

I will (hopefully) be uploading one episode once a week, and I'll try to aim for Sundays so I'm on a consistent schedule. If you haven't seen Utena before or want a rewatch, this might be fun for you too even if you don't have a medical issue. Let's all watch it together!

(I was very generous with my opinion of what "flash" means. I was also tested in the hospital for photic sensitivity recently - I'm not responsive, don't worry - so I understand what the triggers look like. It should be safe, but please watch at your own discretion.)

So far I have a Google Drive with the first episode. (I also included a txt file with the timestamps I used for everything for documentation purposes, someone might find it useful.) I'll throw everything into a torrent once I'm done with the 39 episodes + the movie as well.

NOTE: For some reason the very first subtitle won't load. Why? Good question. ¯_(ツ)_/¯ Everything else is there and correctly synced. Just know that when the opening theme starts playing, the subtitles won't kick in until the line starting with "Even if…"
