Just For Lefties

50% of cats are left-handed.

A survey of over 1.4 million participants showed that we lefties have lower rates of arthritis and ulcers!

So apparently we lefties, who are in our "right minds" are somewhat. . . in the wrong mind. About 30% of us lefties are right-minded, or have no dominant hemisphere. According to scientists, that's not so good. They say it is "more efficient" to have one dominant hemisphere, and that's why we are, "at an increased risk for learning impairments and brain disorders."

Within the ten percent of the lefty population, research shows that the amount of mental disorders are high... In fact, studies show that among those with psychosis there was a 20% likelihood of being left-handed.

No gene has been discovered that will tell whether you are right or left handed, but research shows that people who are left-handed are more likely to have family members who are as well!

it seems like some people started telling their stories. do you have anything you'd like to share with us? like, where are you from, how old are you, what's the most difficult right thing to use in your opinion, favorite left-handed athlete...

That's the explanation I always give to them, specially because I study architecture, and I have an enormous amout of left-handed colleagues

I'm crazy about everything lefty, and I started loving Coldplay even more when I found out Chris Martin is ambidextrous (but writes with his left hand) and the bassist Guy Berryman is lefty (I truly believe that's one of the reasons the band is so good, but my family - parents and 2 sisters righties don't think it's true).

To the previous ask, me and my girlfriend are actually both left handed and we didn't realize this until right when we started dating. Needless to say there's a reason we've been together a while.

It's so good to see that there are other people atracted to lefties. I'm also a lefty and it makes me sad that a couple of two lefties is so rare. Maybe I should just marry a left-handed guy who can open cans (because I've never learned it).
