Let you draw on them when you get bored

Take you outside to draw in chalk on the concrete

Have all kinds of toys to soft and cutesy to things like dinosaurs

Hide dinosaurs around the place for you to find (Robin)

Crochet you a baby blanket (Nancy)

Be loving and attentive

Nancy had noticed first, Chrissy had gone quiet on the couch, curled in on herself, fingers twisted in the hem of her sweater. Her eyes looked unfocused, watery.

“Hey,” Nancy said gently, lowering herself to Chrissy’s level, “You with us?”

Chrissy blinked. Slowly. Her voice, when it came, was small. “M’ tired.”

Robin froze mid-ramble. “…oh. Oh.” She immediately softened, dropping onto the floor in front of Chrissy, “Okay. That’s okay, sweetheart.” Chrissy’s shoulders relaxed at the word.

Nancy didn’t rush her. She’d learned better than that, “Do you wanna be little?” she asked quietly, like it was a choice Chrissy was allowed to make.

Chrissy nodded, lip wobbling, that was all it took.

Robin was already moving, grabbing the diaper bag. Nancy helped Chrissy stand, guiding her with slow, careful movements like she might spook if handled too fast.

“You’re safe,” Nancy murmured as she helped Chrissy change, keeping her voice steady and warm, "We’ve got you.”

Once Chrissy was padded and dressed in one of Robin’s sweatshirts, she melted into the couch like all her tension had been holding her upright before. Robin tucked a blanket around her, leaving only her head and legs free.

Chrissy sucked her thumb without even thinking about it, eyes half-lidded.

“There she is,” Robin whispered, fond and soft in a way she only ever was during moments like this.

Nancy brushed Chrissy’s curls back, slow repetitive strokes. Chrissy made a tiny sound and leaned into the touch.

Robin sat beside them, legs crossed. “Wanna watch cartoons or listen to music, bug?”

Chrissy thought very hard about it. “…toons.”

“Excellent choice,” Robin said solemnly, putting on something colorful and gentle.

A few minutes passed in quiet comfort. Chrissy was fully little now, gaze glued to the screen, fingers clutching the edge of Nancy’s sleeve.

Nancy noticed Robin rubbing at her own wrist, bouncing her knee just a little too fast.

“You okay?” Nancy asked softly.

Robin hesitated, then shrugged, “Kinda… floaty.”

Nancy smiled knowingly, “C’mon here.”

Robin didn’t need to be asked twice. She leaned into Nancy’s side, letting herself relax, her voice going a touch softer, “Just for a minute.”

- Nancy is such a small bubba! She regresses very young, 0-4 most of the time.

- she can be very shy and quiet at first - but the second something peaks her interest she’s the most outspoken little one! She’s all curled up in Steve’s lap, hiding her face, until Robin asks to play ponies and suddenly Nancy is taking charge of the whole heard and instructing them all around.

- she is very particular about her clothing - she mainly wears nighties and cardigans all florals and pastels. She’s padded as well, usually regressing too young to worry about accidents. She’s prefers diaps because she finds security and comfort in the extra protection.

- she’s super cuddly, hapoy to climb into anyone’s lap and have a rest. She finds it very soothing to play with people’s hair and clothes when she is lying with them. Especially Robin and Steve because their hair is just the right length to twist around her fingers. She loves to play with the buttons and collars on Jonathan’s shirts.

- she’s really good at ignoring and pushing down her regression until she absolutely snaps. Whenever any of the scary big battles are going on Nancy can push it aside for hours and days to keep everyone else safe - which is why when she does regress, she crashes and regresses so very young. Her regression in these events typically begin with an accident and a lot of tears. Getting cleaned up and given reassurance that everyone is safe and she’s allowed to let go, always settles her down.

- she has a massive collection of stuffies!! She names them all and they each have detailed storylines and relationships which she will happily explain if you ask.

- she constantly puts her fingers in her mouth, chewing and sucking on them to regulate herself - so she absolutely has to have a paci clipped on her at all times.

- Robin typically regresses around 3-7, which end of that range depends on who she is around! With the party and Eddie she tends to be older, whilst with Steve and Nancy she’s much younger.

- audhd baby final boss. any slither of masking goes right out the window as soon as she regresses. Such a stimmy kiddo - constantly wriggling and rocking. She has a lot of vocal stims too - usually movie quotes or echolalia. “Nance, nance, nance,” “yes Robin?” “Nuthin.” . She loves clicking her tongue and whistling - which teaches Steve a lot about patience and taking deep breaths.

- she hates being still and is constantly begging someone to play a moving around game with her. Steve’s most genius invention is the timer game, where he times how long it takes her to run laps of his backyard. Nancy and her have a lot of dance parties to get her wiggles out before bed time or quiet time.

- Robin has a lot of trouble playing with other littles. She doesn’t like having to follow their rules, all the different noises and voices can be too much and it stresses her out to try and understand what they want from her. When the other littles are all playing together Robin is usually sitting to the edge of the room and watching - the cgs try to coax her into joining in but she usually ends up curled up crying in Nancy’s lap because it was too much.

- she has a little fox stuffie called Ash, a gift from Steve which she carries around with her everywhere! He got it because her favourite book is fantastic mr fox. She also has a blanket from when she was a kid, usually it’s tied around her shoulders like a cape - they call her Robin the fearless when she has it because Nancy says it will keep her nice and safe no matter what.

- very sensory seeking. She’s constantly touching everything in sight and rubning her face on the walls. She loves to be tickled and tossed around, usually by Steve. She enjoys getting swaddled uo nice and tight in a blanket because it’s very regulating for her.

- massive drawer! She loves doodling on anything and everything. She’s constantly running up to her friends to show them new things she has drawn for them!

- quite prone to accidents - she struggles to recognise her body signals when she’s little, and is known to put off going to the bathroom if she’s too invested in a game. She will usually have a shut down off it happens, no one except Nancy can help her out or she will have a complete meltdown. Pullups are definitely considered but if it ever gets brought up she will close up and lose all her words so everyone assumes she would never try them even though Robin knows they would help.

- hyper verbal!! She’s talking and talking and talking. A lot of the time it doesn’t make sense, half sentences and babbles cutting through. Sometimes she’ll slip into other languages because she likes how they sound.

- insanely clumsy, her gross and fine motor skills both declining rapidly when she regresses. She always has bandaids and bruises all over. If she falls she’s usually fine to get straight back up, unless someone reacts even the slightest bit in which case she will dissolve into the most inconsolable sobs and be unable to calm down until someone kisses her better. She has a big supply of her own special bandaids with cool designs on them.

- when she does have a meltdown she’s absolutely shattered. She’ll hide away in absolute distress - rocking and whining and often tugging on her hair. Nancy and Steve have to swoop in to settle her. Dark room, Steve holding her tightly with deep pressure and rocking for her (so she can’t rock hard enough to hit her head on anything), Nancy there for when she calms down and needs to get cleaned up because accidents are pretty common when she melts down. After she likes to be in bed in Nancy’s arms, usually a bottle of cold juice and an old cartoon playing until she falls asleep.
